It's exactly what I needed. My AC unit began freezing up, and hasn't been working well since I had some repair work done back in the fall. Yesterday the system froze up, twice. I started watching education on AC units, and have observed a significant temperature differential across The liquid line filter dryer. One side is warm to the touch, while the other side is condensing water.
Awesome. Glad this video helped. If you can notice the temp difference to the touch then you have a huge restriction there. Must recover the refrigerant, pull a good vacuum & replace that filter drier. See if that helps. Thanks for watching & Stay tuned for new videos every week🔧⚡️
@@JumpermanTech pretty sure this is what caused the problem. I'm guessing the prior workers used old refrigerant. I'll be watching the next guys like a hawk.
on a variable speed compressor like the bosch (25%-110%) ids 1.0 ; should the system be put into force mode (100%) before you test the temperature difference? for me in regular mode when its about 50%-70% compressor running load the Temp Delta is about 5-6 degrees however if I put it in force mode its under 2degrees. Manufacturer says it must be in force mode in order to be able to charge. I am assuming the same holds true for the Liquid line temp difference across the direr? is that true?
My mom hired some rando who just pointed out the fact that there's no filter in the system and didn't offer a repair or refrigerant change service? Is this common? I feel like he could've made some money offering an evacuation, installation, and recharging of the system.

Those pressure checkers have low loss connections?
Dose frost evaporator one of the symptoms?
Nice
