WOW! you are extremely talented with the Monomachine!!! thanks soo much for this! finally found a good deal for a mono and I am now going through every single tutorial ever!!!
I suggest you to also just mess around, and not do only tutorial, or also, take usine preset and check what they do with LFO etc.. And then use those technics on better sounds that you create))) Monomachine is a fantastic synth, just need some times to tame it.
@@virtualcrimes yes I'll try again tomorrow but I figure if I assign Track 1 to Track 4 the same way we did with Track 3 in this video, it should work the same way.
Hi there! Amazing work! I have one question: Does one need the + drive version to do these kinds of sounds or can it just be the non +drive mkII ? Thanks
With post processing yes, if you don’t already have a digitone, use dexed and serum to achieve similar results. I will say I have not come across a chorus similar to the mnm tho, there’s something special about it.

Do you have any suggestions on where to find great deals for the monomachine mk2 ?
@@aloiscyevah3805 either eBay or reverb seem to be the only places

oh my god my jaw dropped i wanna learn how to make music like this but have no idea where to start
Did you find out?
@@R0TTR0TT I think he's still locked in his room learning the MNM and Octatrack
@@R0TTR0TTWhat specifically are you looking for? SOPHIE-like stuff on the Monomachine, or SOPHIE-like stuff in general?
@@rainbowkittycat627 i figured out and can make insane sophie type beat now
@@R0TTR0TT hype!
Absolutely love your vids keep on making them it helps me understand my monomachine a bit more
Love videos like this!! The sounds from this thing (the actual synth engine AND the clicky buttons) are always soooo good
phenomenal work per usual ♥️♥️
Brilliant. Please redo Faceshopping, the most creative beat ever
i learned so much in just 6 minutes thank you
i miss her so bad ):
me too :(
We need more of this. This is incredible, especially that last pattern you previewed at the end!
Nice tutorial, will give it a try. But seeing you smash the buttons so hard made me nervous through the entire video 😅
dude this is sick, do you think u can recreate as a tutorial in serum?
wish i had a monomachine, they're so expensive
dude thank you for this tutorial.
Would you pleaseeee do a Serum version of this to the best of your ability? Would be great!
Ok I got u
@@virtualcrimes Awesome :-)
@@virtualcrimes And operator, please…
@@Blipblopova Oooo yeah I'm using operator a lot now too lol
Wicked groove mate
thank you
make more of these please
can i assign multiple tracks to the same FX Track? I tried assigning track 1 to track 4 but when I tweak track 1, I hear no difference.
Did you set track 1 to trigger track 4? I think it’s in trig settings I can confirm when I have mnm in front of me
@@virtualcrimes yes I'll try again tomorrow but I figure if I assign Track 1 to Track 4 the same way we did with Track 3 in this video, it should work the same way.
Why does this only have 400 likes
How do you send the audio to Ableton or any DAW?
you need an audio interface bub
Awesome! Thanks
Hi there! Amazing work!
I have one question:

Hi thanks for watching, plus drive does not affect the sound at all, it’s merely for saving more snapshots.
do you think since the monomachine is so hard to get, that a similar workflow is possible on the digitone? (Obv. with more post proccessing maybe?)
With post processing yes, if you don’t already have a digitone, use dexed and serum to achieve similar results. I will say I have not come across a chorus similar to the mnm tho, there’s something special about it.
@@virtualcrimes thanks for the feedback! i find the modulating and sequencing with serum very tedious but maybe i haven't found the right way yet
i honestly think youd get closer with an octatrack.. the magic sauce lies in the chorus, which are similar on MNM and OT
whoa this is sick. were the monomachines always 4 grand or was that just recently?
Prices hiked around the time SOPHIE died.
Where did you get the LCD screen?
www.ebay.com/itm/291836099801
Does it have a replacement screen or is that the original screen?
Replacement screen
@@virtualcrimes Nice. That can't be easy to do.

Great vid but please stop smashing your monomachine lol
thx! but no. I love smashing buttons, a fan of clickyness.
