Wealth is a means to support carrying out your purpose, not an end in itself. Exactly.

It's about using resources wisely to enrich not just our lives but also the lives of those around us. This perspective shifts the focus to what truly matters - living a life full of meaning, joy, and fulfillment 👏

Great presentation Cyn! Too many people and financial advisers focus only on the financial aspects of retirement.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I completely agree. While the financial side of retirement is undeniably important, it's just as crucial to consider the emotional, social, and personal fulfillment aspects as well. Retirement is a significant life transition that offers a unique opportunity to redefine oneself and pursue passions and interests that may have been on hold. It's about creating a balanced, fulfilling lifestyle that nurtures all facets of our being. Thanks for recongizing this important perspective! ❤️

Very true. I have understood that in Japan people live longer by setting personal goals as the most important factor, next to eating healthy and living stressfree.

If you work in retirement ... have you retired? What is it that we're retiring from then in modern retirement?

I don’t get that either, but I could see myself working a part time job in something I love and stress free and not necessarily for an income. Just to keep me busy 20-24 hours a week.

Great question! In today's world, retirement isn't just about stepping away from work; it's more about transitioning into a phase where you have the freedom to pursue what truly matters to you.
It could be dedicating time to hobbies, exploring new passions, or even continuing some form of work with a newfound purpose and flexibility. Essentially, it's retiring from the obligations that no longer serve us, to embrace the activities and experiences that bring joy and fulfillment. It's all about redefining retirement on your own terms.
