You grab reds when there aren't yellows during general play, and when they are within 100-200 meters of a chest. Takes zero time or 1-2 minutes to make around 10-20k. There is an endgame weapon farm I do sometimes that makes 20-40k in 2 minutes.
I had no idea you could sell red weapons. Maybe I'm not that far into the game yet, but all the vendors I have visited thus far will not buy red weapons. Also, how in the world can you carry ALL that weight? I carry two weapons with ammo and meds, and I'm close to my weight max. Not to mention, if I get chewed up a bit by the zone or take fire from the enemy, I exceed my max weight, and either need to load a pre-save or dump most of the item out of my pack in order to move. To be honest. I have waited for this game for a long time, and now that I'm playing it, I find out that it's a grind that's just not worth it. I would never have purchased this game if I had known about its close to impossible mechanics.
Exactly 👏 been on this form the start. Definitely adds up yeah , won't get rich superfast but helps. Just keep putting them in loot box for days once I must have sold 75 red guns 😅
This is not a farm, it is a zero time method of just taking high value reds as you do missions and dropping them for yellows when carry weight is an issue, or looting large firefights near outposts which takes 1 minute to do. Red Gauss = 10-15k typically, M701s are around 5k, etc. Some reds are worth more than some yellow items.
Guides are free for me(not all of them), the one in Rostok and the one in the Rookie Village are free(Probbaly because they are "green" for me). Their mechanics also give huge discounts too. Anyways, a very nice idea from you. I knew i can sell "red" items to Ragman but not in this elite way you showed us in this video xD Iam much more enjoying my 2nd playtrough after the 1st failed one. Once you understand the base mechanics in this game and you become a "master" there is nothing that can stop you. You can get so OP so easy in the early game its just nuts. Once you understand everything, it is literally a "walk in the park" experience, even on the hardest difficulty.
Yes you profit from it a little. But compared to spending all that time looting actual good stuff, it's terrible. How can you be happy with 1-2k when my average run is about 20k? Not to mention the absurd ammount of room those items take in your stash...
Yall must be bad with money. I never had money issues in my play through. I ended the game with over 200k in the bank, maxed out diamond exo, ans a fair number of maxed out guns in the safe
I don't collect reds as a farm, you do this during gameplay when it makes sense to bring them like if you did a mission and have excess carry weight. Adds to thousands for zero time during normal gameplay
Idk how people play this game full vanilla on veteran. The way difficulty works in this game is severely retarded. It's a shame they went backward in a few ways and, in some ways, completely lost their minds. Difficulty in OG trilogy just flat increased damage for you and NPCs, just lower TTK. I have no clue why someone thought it was a good idea to do difficulty this way all of a sudden. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Gun stats and durability make no logical sense. Whoever approved the gun stats was huffing glue. With some of the devs dying in the war the ones left forgot how bullets work. What a shame. If they had someone who got shot the gun stats probably would make some amount of sense. 9mm does more dmg than 5.56 because woops my brain is pudding. Let's not even mention bullets going in a straight line then immediately disappearing at a certain distance. They cared more about graphics than gameplay.
There are 4 locations near zalyssia in the lesser zone that are guaranteed artifact drops. Just sleep and they respawn it's an easy 16k per run that's a how I grind koupons
i've been hoarding like a homeless from the start, every yellow gets in the bag, and all the red stays on the ground, i barely arrive to the red forest and i already have like 200k coupons, i think i have to stop hoarding so much
At this point I feel the game still isn't balanced, so I use a mod to sell red guns at any vendor. With this, and two more mods to sell monster parts, and random items that can be spawned on NPCs (both returned from past STALKER games) the economy feels more like the previous games.
the only mod I'm using for that it's the Reduce Repair Cost, set to 20%. I got 300k already that I'm not using, and a collection of guns in the stash. It's really not that big of a issue man....
A red gauss sells for 10-15k, a red M701 sells for around 5, you can farm reds/yellows 100 meters away from a guide in Pripyat in 1-2 minutes and make a ton of money quickly. The idea in this video is to take high value reds when it makes sense: -After huge firefights near outposts -When there aren't other yellow or more higher value items to grab -When the red items have higher value:weight than yellow items.
I have an even BETTER idea 😄 Requirements- You have to be on PC Install a mod that lets you sell broken gear, or in my case, install a mod that lets you repair anything for free, then sell it

Reds a chump change
OR farm a few anomalies and you made 3x that
This is not a farm, it is a zero time method of just taking high value reds as you do missions and dropping them for yellows when carry weight is an issue, or looting large firefights near outposts which takes 1 minute to do. Red Gauss = 10-15k typically, M701s are around 5k, etc. Some reds are worth more than some yellow items.
I have red runs all the time
Guides are free for me(not all of them), the one in Rostok and the one in the Rookie Village are free(Probbaly because they are "green" for me).
Very smart, but I honestly think artifact hunting is more profitable
I don't collect reds as a farm, you do this during gameplay when it makes sense to bring them like if you did a mission and have excess carry weight. Adds to thousands for zero time during normal gameplay
Holy shit. Didnt know that. Damn
or just get artifacts
green traders offer better profit i allways return selyzia to get profit in yelow ones
do artifact runs easy 50K plus
I switch difficulty to rookie for extra profit. Then I switch back to veteran. That way, the game does not feel too grindy for me.
Basically my plan, I'm just loading up on everything I want and when I have everything together, I'ma turn the difficulty up
Idk how people play this game full vanilla on veteran.
Dont do that 😡
@@th43_zz55 Oh yeah brother, it's done 😈
There are 4 locations near zalyssia in the lesser zone that are guaranteed artifact drops. Just sleep and they respawn it's an easy 16k per run that's a how I grind koupons
I did this during my 2nd run but then I got a bug where I couldn't save Zaliyssa in endgame lol
There are 5 in lesser zone.
1. Magnetic Cave
2. Ribs
3. Old Mill Village
4. Deaf Meadow
5. Pol Depot
He didnt bought a red RPG-7U
It was at 0 durability, he only buys reds that have at least 1% IIRC
Now this is useful I didn't know ragman buys red aka broken guns
Ok so all my rostok traders turned green anybody know why
Maybe you have completed most side quests in rostok or helped/revive Freedom in firefight
i've been hoarding like a homeless from the start, every yellow gets in the bag, and all the red stays on the ground, i barely arrive to the red forest and i already have like 200k coupons, i think i have to stop hoarding so much
At this point I feel the game still isn't balanced, so I use a mod to sell red guns at any vendor.
It's really not that big of a issue man....
what a total waste of time lol
A red gauss sells for 10-15k, a red M701 sells for around 5, you can farm reds/yellows 100 meters away from a guide in Pripyat in 1-2 minutes and make a ton of money quickly.
The idea in this video is to take high value reds when it makes sense:
-After huge firefights near outposts
-When there aren't other yellow or more higher value items to grab
-When the red items have higher value:weight than yellow items.
I have an even BETTER idea 😄
Requirements- You have to be on PC
Install a mod that lets you sell broken gear, or in my case, install a mod that lets you repair anything for free, then sell it
