Fine. I'm only 58 and this version kicks butt! Epically love the vocals. I don't know much about recording vocals, but it has to be very difficult. The backing and lead vocals sound wonderful to me. But the whole thing is dialed! Bass, drums, lead guitar. keyboards. KEYBOARDS. AWESOME.

We were "The 5th Dimension" before there was The 5th Dimension" Holland, NY, Erie County, Western NY. I was the drummer. As a kid from the 70’s I have to agree. My mom was a waitress and her boss would let me have all of the old records from the jukebox. I love the older music!
@@billiambass4308 This was our first attempt and I was just learning. I sent that vocal file to a friend with a "real" studio and he processed it. I'm not sure what he did with it, besides removing the bleed between phrases. I did the overall mix. I will say the vocal sounded much better when I got it back. Since then, my usual approach is compression, reverb, and a touch of delay set to eighth notes. I will attempt Melodyne if needed, but that seems to be a 50/50 thing at my skill level.
Nice cover guys one of my favorite tracks from 75/6. In 1980 after returning to UK from working and traveling in Europe I moved into a house in stoke Newington that was the home of some of the band and the rehearsal studio was in the basement, so the guys downstairs pretty much hits the mark. What a shame this band had no further hits How Long was so stand out.
