I think there needs to be a "Very Special Episode: Series Finale Edition". Those are always fraught with sentimentality and special moments. Which I love of course...but I also love satire and roasting so it would be a win-win.

OMG! Mr. Belvedere! These are a Generation X's dream! Growing up watching these as a child and seeing it with this voice over is amazing.
Back in the 80s everyone was scared about catching it, lol. Kids knowing more than adults about AIDS was common. Some adults seriously believed kissing and mosquitoes were the problem. I had a teacher that got pissed over me throwing spitwads she claimed I could be spreading AIDS and tried to get me expelled from school. A lot of people were freaking out.

It’s as if the producers of this morality tale want to emphasize how it physically alters your
appearance. Or how everyone will be able to spot you after you’ve done it.
Or how they will be blemished in the eyes of the lord, etc.
But they ignore the fact that people who do drugs are good at hiding the fact they do drugs.
Especially kids who are constantly sneaking things past their parents.
Message to the audience is: don’t do bad things. Your parents will know.
That's a good catch actually...these special episodes screwed up a lot of kids, including me, who were basically raised by sitcoms and not parents.
Okay, if we can’t get new “Very Special Episodes”, can we at least finish the Kid Nation series?

I loved the very special episodes i looked foward to them every friday they were always brilliant and hilarious i think the MR belvedere episode was definitely the most savage i really wish these would come back
