I need to replace my almost 20 year old Onga, but at a budget. Thanks for the video. I'll now get one of these.

Thanks mate. Just bought this from Aldi and couldn’t get it to work even after watching your video. I had to watch your video twice to realise I had not filled it with enough water to start. But she’s kicking now

Gr8 video. Can you tell me does the suction pipe require a one way valve on the far end? TIA

Need to see an example of it connected to a Water Tank. Page 10 of the manual says it is suitable to use with a rainwater tank. I have not been able to get this to work where the pump effectively allows water to flow through it even when turned off. I wanted to water my garden once a day taking water from the water tank however as soon as I open the outlet valve from the water tank water trickles through to the irrigation system which if left in that state would slowing drain the tank. I expected the pump to only flow water when operated either manually or via the timer and when the pump stops it should shup off the inlet valve. Without doing this it is NOT suitable to be connected to a rainwater tank as advertised. Now I need to return the pump having wasted so much time plumbing it in and am severely out of pocket - time and materials. Useless dysfunctional produce not fit for purpose.

Plus way too noisey for suburbia! I'm going to return mine as well!

So I’ve followed this instruction and when powered on manual mode the unit doesn’t suck from my water bucket intake. What’s going on? I filled the filter area to prime as shown until it overflowed.

How did you go? It sounds like some air was getting in, maybe your connections weren’t air tight
