Thanks! I was completely lost, and your video gave me the strength and information to go back out to the driveway and try to attach that darn base one more time. Your pointer that the seat needs to be tight along the belt path, but should still move from front to back, was just what I needed to hear. As it turns out, I was doing it correctly.

I heard that you shouldn't install the latch and the shoulder belt at the same time is that true? wouldn't it add more hold to the base?

True. You use one OR the other. No, it wouldn't add more hold. The LATCH system and seat belt are two different systems and should only be used one at a time unless your seat specifically says you can use both (very, very rare).
