Hello friend, I would like to say, you are a true pioneer in the Albion community, you are showing us new players and existing players real knowledge that other creators don't show or even know about. You are the first Albion channel I have subscribed to, I sincerely wish you gain more following because of your great videos!
Real intelligent human being. Nice you have the ability to identify and pin point problem. Also you can water it down and convey it rightly to your viewers. Great skill right there.
Awesome tricks! I use inspect on "C" because is very helpful and close to press for me, cause my auto attacks is on "Space" so if i need to inspect someone i just move my thumb to "C" lol. I know it is not related to video but i also use "X" to "auto walk" and "TAB" to hide UI, "N" to see the map with transparency, doing that i improved my pvp so much
Ive never really noticed but apparently I was doing the right thing to look at their weapon first, you videos are awsome! Teaching tactics rather than matchups or playstyle
I just watched half of the videos in your channel, all very well done. Very interesting points about the game and very different content from other creators. Your voice was so familiar, i dont know if its the tone or the pace, but after the second video i really thought i was listening yo El Estapario Siberiano talking about Albion 😅 best content rn
This guide is really good for new and intermediate players. I still watch average IP when i have time after checking opponents build because I can do the maths to know if my opponent is 800 spec or 100 spec in his build for example. I use T for inspecting :)
Thanks! That's a pretty next level strat and I'm guessing you have A LOT of experience to be able to apply it! I hope they will one day make it so you can click on your enemy's item and the tooltip will show their IP with that item, not what your IP would be with that item. Currently you can't be sure if they have 800 in their weapon line or 800 in cloth sandals, right?
Love the video, I think that average IP can be used alongside the two slot prios, as long as it’s not the only thing you look at. For example, I’m not going to engage when there is a 400IP difference, but if it’s under 300 I will look at weapon and chest slots, it’s just as quick 👌
Absolutely. If you are able to also factor in IP after having seen the most important info, it's awesome. But for the 400 average ip difference example, you will still instantly recognise it even if you just look at their tiers and specs, not the actual ip number itself.
Nice Video. In more depth I have been forever using inspection to decide on my gearswap. Particularly the headpiece, which can make or break a battle. I could have upto 5 different cheap 4.1 headpieces in my inventory. Perhaps I have said too much....
Very nice next level strat! Probably won't work quite as well economically at higher tiers but it can for sure be fun and viable to bring 2 helmet options even at 6.3+.
@@VicZaneGaming Just One Example: Having a Soldier Helmet on hand for less then 2k silver to Block > Death Curse, Bow of Badon and to get over a Firewall is kinda OP.
Love the no cape and lowering the IP on non damaging items on the build makes a lot of paydays😄 The only thing I would add to this is to also look at the health bar(e.g it's rare to see t7 and t8 with 4-5k hp), saved me a lot of times from sweat lords when I was looking to finish the camps. Inspecting especially for more imobile builds like curse it's a skill everybody need to learn, makes the difference between a win vs sprint or an early full combo stoped by a last second change to dodge role 😇
is true and correct but i dont like to inspect enemy because is sometime is useless specially i ganking i more or ambush i likely enhance my instict of experience because if i encounter opponent strong i instantly run and if soft i fight
Great video as always. Can it then be derived that the most cost effective way to purchase equipment for the mists while minimizing IP is focusing on higher tier weapon/armor/food? Perhaps having helmet and boots 1 tier lower and cape as low as possible for the build?
Absolutely correct conclusion. I touch upon it in my other Item Power video. If you are optimizing for average IP, it makes a lot of sense to have lower tier helmet and boots while putting even more emphasis on food/potions. However, not everybody is focused on keeping average IP low. If you go for 6.3+, it's also a valid plan for many players to get every cost-effective little advantage even if it inflates their IP. If you go very high tier, fewer of your enemies will be fooled by IP because they'll be on average more experienced players.
I knew that he has absolutely everything on cooldown so there isn't really much he can do to kill me there. He used his boots, giga potion, armor, chain slash and E. Since I cleansed his Q stacks earlier and he still used his E, it went on cooldown as well. So he's not really much of a threat until his cooldowns are back. Especially since I have my potion ready, I feel very safe to keep brawling. And my E with 3 stacks is ready this whole time to finish him off. In fact, it's a good point to bring attention to because in that moment if I do not go for the kill, only other option is to fully disengage and reset the fight. If I just stick around, he might kill me after resistance potion ends.
I've been playing albion for 3 and a half years and I just learned today that average IP is a terrible thing to look at. So far, that's been the only deciding factor for me. Where was this video years ago when I needed it? Honestly, your videos have helped me a ton in improving my pvp. I went from losing fights to no spec T4 players (while wearing 5.1 w/ spec) to being able to win a few fights at my level. 3.5 years of albion and I only got 1.9m pvp fame because I would lose over 90% of the fights I took. Back then, I had to do solo dungeons to get enough money to afford sets for PvP because I would lose so many fights. But now, after understanding PvP better and winning some more fights, I can proudly say my total net worth is 13m silver, the highest its been in 3 and a half years.
Sounds like you are enjoying PvP more and more even after 3 years of playing and if that's the case, I'm very happy to know that and to have an impact on that as well !!! I guess everyone enjoys the sandbox in different ways but I think that feeling your own progress - whether in terms of economy, skill or something else - is the most satisfying part of playing!
Tab is great choice! I use it for opening Inventory which is another key that needs to be somewhere close imo, especially with the current potion-juggling meta.
nice video dude, i have a question how do i see that my enemy has full specs ? whats the indicator for it ? keep going with these great content much love :D
There's that little symbol in the corner of each item - either a small circle or a star. That symbol gives you some general idea although you won't know what specs your opponent has in other items of the same tree.
@@VicZaneGaming jeje sorry for my english is not very good, i mean, in spanish there is a lot of noobs, and this information its very value, so i want to do the same guide but in spanish, and i was asking before to do it, cause i dont wanna have problems with the copyright, sorry again for my english.

u are the best albion video maker, can u pls tell about day breaker. i love it more than regular spear ot has better damage and less cost in terms of ip
Thank you!! I love the daybreaker and it actually seems to be gaining some popularity recently. It's a good weapon to play as tanky-ish brawler. However, it's a bit tricky and complicated to make it work in the mists because you run into mobility problems. The E is hard to hit so you can't rely solely on that to catch enemies. However, it's pretty cool with duskweaver helmet so you can catch people with it when they use boots and then cripple then off. I'm not sure about less cost per IP. I think on all servers and markets I've checked the 1h spear has been cheaper than similar IP daybreaker. Maybe there are exceptions.
Your point is correct! Generally, if you're going to be using a lot of inferno, assassin, mistwalker or tenacity jacket are the best options. All 3 of those give you a useful alternative spell for some matchups! Merc and hunter jacket are only really good if you're planning to use their special spell as a default option for your build. The reason I used a lot of specter jacket before was that it was the cheapest way to get high IP leather jacket on the specific city and server I played on. Istill have some emotional attachment to it but assassin, mistwalker and tenacity are more versatile!
I am a new player to albion and i just happen to start with a spear as my weapon of choice. Now my spear is 5.0 no and same for my helmet and merc armor and soldier boots 5.0 no enchantment so my question is is 4.1, 4.2, 4.4, 4.5 weapons and armor better than 5.0 weapon and armors
Essentially 4.3=5.2=6.1=7.0 . There is a tiny tiny bit of difference but essentially all of these examples are tier 7 equivalent and will give you the same result. I think you'll find this video useful - th-cam.com/video/G51zzKfxoac/w-d-xo.html
There are little symbols in the corner of each item which indicate their IP with that specific item. You can see this on yourself also - little circles or stars.
Why do you say that the tier 4 weapon is a tier 6 weapon at 8:24? Does this have something to do with the stars in the upper right corner or do the echantements counts towards the "tier"? Is a 4.2. weapon then a tier 6 weapon or equal to tier 6?
The thing you guessed about enchantments is exactly correct! 4.2 item is the same as a tier 6 item since every enchantment level gives +100 IP just like every tier. The stars in the upper right corner show my enemy's specs and also affect IP but differently. I have a bit more basic Item Power video here which might be helpful - th-cam.com/video/G51zzKfxoac/w-d-xo.html .
Yeah, one tier is 100 IP, one enchant (from 4.0 to 4.1 for example is also 100 IP. So a. 4.1 is like a 5.0 (then other thing matters like spec and quality)
Top right corner of every item slot shows a little symbol. Its color shows your enemy's specs in that item. This color changes for every 25 spec. If there is no symbol, they have less than 25 spec. If it's a star, it's 101+. You also see these same symbols on your own items when you open your inventory.
I haven't really done anything other than some market orders on mobile. You should be able to program 4 custom buttons and add inspecting there but I hope you can get more precise info from a mobile player.
Kind of correct. One strat for gigajuicers is to just look at healthbars to gauge if they should expect any resistance. Very very few people play 8.4 in the mists though :)
Hey. Did you try the youtube's auto-generated captions? I've checked them out and it seems that youtube is pretty good at understanding me and the captions are mostly correct!

That's a fair opinion. I've thought about it and I cannot figure out yet if I support IP caps or not. I see good arguments on both sides. As for aggression, be careful man! I've definitely killed many people just because they assume I am stronger than I really am. It's easy to be aggressive in lower tier gear when you don't have much to lose!
Mists are fine as they are. There's already plenty of IP capped PvP options in the game......corrupted, arena, hellgates. Mists are the only solo/duo player non-IP capped game mode in the game. And i think it should remain as is, unless a similar or better game-mode is introduced.
I don't think that implementing IP caps everywhere is a good thing. It will change Albion from open world MMO to some weird arena game. There are already plenty of IP capped content (HG, CD) but no other open IP one beside mists

How does that first chest have a t8.4 thetford cape and is only worth 170k?

Items with very low trade volume don't have an "Estimated value" in the system so the chest value also doesn't take it into account.
