Everyone is talking about her beautiful voice but alas, like Joan Baez, her guitar playing isn’t getting the credit it deserves. I'll be honest I got fed up with seeing the video in my recommendations so I finally caved in and clicked on it. I’ve been avoiding watching it as it’s such a special song for JB I thought no one could do it justice, I'm happy to admit when I’m wrong.
nice job kid. ( kid is not meant to be negative.) I am a very old man. You are young. I love to see young folks understand and appreciate the music that came before them and helped to pave their path. I point out only helped to pave, you young people have surely paved your own paths. Again, I say, good job kid.

I had the pleasure to meet Kirsten a few years ago at an open Mic in Northport village L.I. and sit in with her on pedal steel for a song.She's quite talented, obviously, and is every bit a personable young woman and a sheer joy to play music with.Her original music is also wonderful.Months later I saw she was going to play a spring concert in the village of Northport and barely knowing her I asked if I could come and sit in with her..she was so cool she said
" absolutely"...and I'll always cherish that experience, and I told her that as I handed her a Joan Baez double live album on vinyl as a thankyou for letting me play.A great talent and an extremely nice
person.

I always enjoy live performances over studio recordings. You see the 'real' artist. And "artistry" is how I see this video. Exceptionally good! Thank you.
Yes, generally yes but usually it is a struggle for the artist. She struggles here too with booming guitar (hard to acoustically being controlled in such a small room) and luck of deep spacey reverb that is needed for this song. She also changed one or two cords that she is not fully confident it's right and (as with the other famous performance ) she gets her fingers stuck in one place . It happens due to humidity and a little (very little in her place ) off stage nervousnes Joan has absolute rolling of her guitar rhytm while Kerstin takes pauses. Besides this she is fantastic.No matter her voice is almost a ghost of that of Joan , she sings the song with huge impact of personal feeling. What I like it better that she does not hold the notes as long as Joan does. Well Joan does it ruller strajght with no trace of tremble.
OMG ! wow, purest voice i have heard of late. Yes, now i am in my late 50s, these songs resonate ever so loudly, meandering through my universe ... great job ! ! BTW, your guitar playing is exceptional.

Bonita voz pero no tiene ni la tesitura para algunas notas agudas al principio ni la emoción de la autora que relata su propio quiebre amoroso de Bob Dylan. Hay que vivir esa instancia de Joan para darle vida a ese hermoso tema.
Si claro, imposible que alguien logre alcanzar lo que hace Joan Baez. He escuchado varias interpretaciones, la mayoría muy buenos covers y creo que homenajean a Joan de manera que se agradece. Pero no, nadie la alcanza en tesitura y nivel de emoción que transmite.
