This was the first one of Craig's musical monologues I saw. Now whenever I listen to it on my iPod or hear it on the radio I just start totally jammin out...AHHH I LOVE IT!
This brings me back to some good times in my life. My hubby who has passed away would always get up and sing this to me when we would watch this. It's was our favorite show. Thanks Craig for so many laughs
I only had to travel 2 hours to see his live stand up routine. I think you will find it well worth the trip. Everyone in town was so excited and no one left disappointed. It was a glorious ride home discussing how much fun we had that night. Enjoy ♥
I swear this is the best late night talk show ever. Seriously, do any of the others have stuffed animals AND musical numbers with bewildering backup dancers?
I thought this was an older song, but after doing my research I realized that once again, Craig Ferguson is on top of his game giving the underdogs a chance to shine. He just gets better and better. Case in point, Diane Birch, Brett Dennen, and now Michael Franti. It's a good day for America everybody! Yes indeed it is.
I just noticed he had his little "bald" spot in this video. The cold open several months ago he did where he stood with his back to the camera pointing it out is one of my favorites. I love this video too :)
i swear, after i discovered this delightful video on youtube as well as my newfound of love craig, i hear this on the radio ALL THE TIME!! and i love it cuz the choreography immediately comes to mind :D craig ferguson you comedic genius!
Whenever this song comes on I ALWAYS bust the 'metaphysical man' and 'rockin on the dance floor movin with you' dance moves, and yes, people think i'm crazy, but i can't help it!! they must be done! ;)
This is great - I love Craig Ferguson! Can't get Craig up here on my available channels; I'm getting more sleep, not staying up waiting for the show...but Boo-hoo, I really miss his show.
i turned on the tv last night to watch the late late show, and basketball was on -.- then my boyfriend sent me this link. you have no idea how many times ive watched it =)
I never heard this song before I saw Craig's send-up on it. Craig is way before the curve with the musical guest's he features on his show. Craig is the bomb!
Coincidentally I heard this song, and then "I'm Yours" over the radio at two different places. That was weird, but I immediately thought of Craig when I heard those songs. :)
you know what I like also, it's tha CRaig does care about doing it good, any body else would not care about the quality of the playbacking but he's well timed, body language fits, everything matches... well,, whattafaaaa , I love him also...!!!
My license plate reads "MRAZ FAN', so I am definitely partial to Jason, however, I love the choreography on the "Oops, I did it again" skit. And I had never heard of Michael Franti. Wish I was 20 years younger.
Check out Late Late Show 12/03/2010 with Kristen Bell and Michael Franti. Franti answers Craig's lip-sync version with one of his own, puppets included. If you have not seen it yet, it is a must watch. The entire episode is great. At the end, Franti sings Hey Hey Hey with the entire studio audience.
Most of the artists that Craig mimics have to love the publicity. He isn't mocking them, he's just having fun with tunes that many of his fans aren't familiar with. I think Duran Duran's cover of "White Lines" is a great example. You should see it if you haven't yet.
HAHAHAH!!! OH my god!! This is hilarious!! I have this song on my ipod and I have probably played it a hundred times and I laughed every time!!! woohooo!!! You rock Craig!
@elphsgingedaisy I completely and totally understand. I'm 20 and completely in love with the guy. The whole dancing with puppets thing is just so simplistically hilarious that he's gotta get some credit for it!
i'm 22 and crazy about him. and 0.51 moves makes me mad. i'm so crazy that this october i will travel from europe to NYC just to see his show. i will be in america only 15 hours. i think that would be most expensive ticket i will ever buy. hehe
Fucking brilliant. You watch this and you watch something like Letterman in his prime or Conan and you can't believe how busch league the other shows are compared to this. Classic Carson was amazing but nothing since Carson even comes close to Ferguson's show.
i have no idea how he does this. this man somehow makes dancing with puppets ATTRACTIVE. and i know people have mentioned it already, but 0:51 is one of the best things i have ever seen in my entire life. i feel like a creep because i'm 17 and i love a guy who's like 48. oh welllll
This is curiously perfect, a work of art that is lip-synching. I wonder how many of Ferguson's realize that he recorded albums as a singer after he'd dropped his original stage name of "Bing Hitler." Look it up here on youtube.
The moment when all the puppets pop up to do the chorus is priceless/so memorable. Loved this!
This was the first one of Craig's musical monologues I saw. Now whenever I listen to it on my iPod or hear it on the radio I just start totally jammin out...AHHH I LOVE IT!
How lucky were we, to exist in the same span of time, as this LEGEND! Misses you Craig and ALL!
This video will never leave my favorites
@@jroccs87 Word...💕💕💕💕
This brings me back to some good times in my life. My hubby who has passed away would always get up and sing this to me when we would watch this. It's was our favorite show. Thanks Craig for so many laughs
This is the reason I have the song.
I love you too, Craig. So much.
God, I love at the end when he nods as if he's saying "yeah - that just happened."
This just put the biggest smile on my face! I love you, Craig.
Craig Ferguson is so gorgeous and funny at the same time.😊
Its January 2022 and this is still great!
October 2024 also
Loved this at the time. Still brilliant years later.
He is so hilarious!!!!! I would love to see him live!
I only had to travel 2 hours to see his live stand up routine. I think you will find it well worth the trip. Everyone in town was so excited and no one left disappointed. It was a glorious ride home discussing how much fun we had that night.
Enjoy ♥
I've seen this 50 times, and it's still cracks me up! No body, and I mean NO BODY does it better than CF!!
I just heard this song again I had to come rewatch this :D
Me, too. Heard the song at the beginning of a movie and thought that it would be on here and found it !!
I swear this is the best late night talk show ever.
Seriously, do any of the others have stuffed animals AND musical numbers with bewildering backup dancers?
The most genuine man on television everbody! *applauds Craig loudly*
Pure awesomeness through and through. Keep it up, Craig!

Closest late night man to the legend Johnny Carson. He cracks me up!
I just noticed he had his little "bald" spot in this video. The cold open several months ago he did where he stood with his back to the camera pointing it out is one of my favorites. I love this video too :)
Whenever I'm down, I watch this and think YAY! Craig Loves Me!!!
god i love this and his show lol best in late night by far
Excellent...has me bouncing along with its contagious beat.
This has to be the best musical opening ever on the show. They're always amazing, but with this one... I feel like he's singing to me..
i swear, after i discovered this delightful video on youtube as well as my newfound of love craig, i hear this on the radio ALL THE TIME!! and i love it cuz the choreography immediately comes to mind :D craig ferguson you comedic genius!

0:50-1:00 = major FERGASM
LiebeAlle Oh my gosh! 😂
I never. ever, thought I would like a Brittney Spears song until I saw Craig's version of Oops I Did it Again.
Simply brilliant!
I still miss Craig and Jeff, and all the puppet stuff! Wish someone would give him another show.
I really like this video love love love the puppets

Long live Craig!!!

I freaking love Craig Ferguson
Whenever this song comes on I ALWAYS bust the 'metaphysical man' and 'rockin on the dance floor movin with you' dance moves, and yes, people think i'm crazy, but i can't help it!! they must be done! ;)
This is great - I love Craig Ferguson!
Can't get Craig up here on my available channels; I'm getting more sleep, not staying up waiting for the show...but Boo-hoo, I really miss his show.
One of the best musical intros he did. I wish he'd do more of them. But guess they don't want to keep doing the same things over and over too long.
I still love you Craig.
The best music skit!!!!
i love how many puppets there are!
I love you Craig!!
We Love You Too Craig
I love all of Craig's intros. But, the puppet ones are the best!
And this ranks as number 1.
needed that today.
hahaha i love the little mosh pit of puppets
i turned on the tv last night to watch the late late show, and basketball was on -.-
then my boyfriend sent me this link. you have no idea how many times ive watched it =)

The man is PURE talent.
This is the single greatest thing in the history of things.

Coincidentally I heard this song, and then "I'm Yours" over the radio at two different places. That was weird, but I immediately thought of Craig when I heard those songs. :)

I love how the puppets jump in out of nowhere!
I would not have liked this song without Craig and his bunch. its just not the same ...

Best 2 minutes of my life

Ok, thanks!
I love the big grin at the end. So jokes.
He exudes sexiness... even among puppets. lol :D

I meant to say two different places in the same day. Whoops.
@elphsgingedaisy
I completely and totally understand. I'm 20 and completely in love with the guy. The whole dancing with puppets thing is just so simplistically hilarious that he's gotta get some credit for it!
OMG ROFL i love the ending how cragis just smiling and then BOOM! "WORLDWIDE LEADER IN PANTS!"

I miss Craig !! I know he got tired of the show at the end but I still miss him anyway. I miss his "Prince Charles", too !
BA-BY-GIRRRRRL! lol I LOVE Chris. And Craig, of course.
@bmaharet it was the guy saying "baby girl"
I love the leatherboy intern
