NU students and faculties are so fortunate to have a speaker who shares valuable perspectives on life, politics, and global issues. He also mentioned how the romans used gladiator games to divert peoples attention. Sounds simiIiar to what's happening in nagaland (if you know you know) I wish more colleges and universities invite him to share his expertise, going beyond traditional classroom learning.

The philosophy of Determinism is simply unlivable if one ought to live by its logical outworking. Every single moment we make concious choice from the very trivial stuffs to big decisions in life. And Every law enforcing institutions in modern democracy is built upon the supposition of Free Will thereby individuals have freedom to do good or evil whether to commit crime or not. If everything is predetermined on what basis should one seek justice since there is no concept of good and evil and individuals are driven by sheer natural instinct which they have no concious control over the it.
