    Please do more of these I have the exact same experience and have just started to heal my gut after doing keto for Yrs. I am FINALLY loosing weight and feel amazing after a month of focusing on my gut health. I am eating way more food and loosing weight 😊

    I think I have watched all your videos and you are the best out there!!!! I did the one meal a day and fasting and it was life changing I do not have any weight to lose but i wanted to feel better and your videos were the only ones that helped me!!! TRULY LIFE CHANGING!

    Our gut is such an important and often overlooked aspect of health. True healing begins in the gut. There is something called the gut-brain axis, it’s basically a direct channel of communication between your gut and your central nervous system. Pretty fascinating. I’ve even heard some experts claim that 80% of our immune system is housed in the gut.

    Light bulb moment!!! I injured myself over a year ago. I've been taking 800mg of ibuprofen a day sometimes more. I have noticed a serious weight gain and gut pains since. I'm going to cut out all ibuprofen, hopefully I can make a clean break if not a will wean myself off it. Then I feel I definitely need to take that Viome test. This is a emergency fund reason. I need to do this for my health. And I'll definitely be trying to get in some natural pre and probiotics. Thank you for your channel. I just found you last night and can't stop watching.

    Use the bag sauerkraut to make ur own kimchee use red chili pepper flakes for a little heat it does not have to be super hot its called easy kimchi

    Many people eat lots of yogurt thinking it’s healthy and full of probiotics. Unfortunately if it’s low fat and sweetened there’s nothing healthy about it at all!’The heating process completely kills any good bacteria and it’s way too much sugar. It’s so much better and tastier to buy the full fat plain yogurt, use either sugar free jam to sweeten it or I’ll often use fresh or frozen berries, peaches etc. and boil them down into a syrup/jam and sweeten, less than how sweet it would be if bought sweetened, with Stevia and/Or Monkfruit (these are much healthier artificial sweetener options!). Then refrigerate and use for the week to mix into the plain yogurt (I also add a little bit of vanilla extract for flavour.) or put on toast or pancakes, waffles or keto cheesecake. This is by far much better for kids too!

    This is such a great video! Too bad the test is not available for Canadians 😢 I did conduct a test with a university in Canada and did low Fodmap eating plan for 6 weeks which really does help! Just have to add in the fasting in that plan. I keep getting really sick Covid and my body gets exhausted and can’t get rid of this for 2 months. I have IBS and an autoimmune disease alopecia and might have other issues with my gut. I think I need to sick to a plan for a year to get better and maybe make this a lifestyle 😊♥️ thanks for sharing 🙏🏼🫶

    Wow I didn't know Ibuprofen kills our micro biome, I have sever digestive issues and I suffer from headaches so I pop like three 4 ibuprofen. I will definitely stop doing that from now on. Thank you for all this wonderful information!

    I really loved this information. I passed on a antibiotic today because I was worried about my gut microbiome and I’m not able to fast quite yet, so I was wondering just by eating smaller meals... I’m doing low-carb, so I really don’t get very very hungry… but I was wondering if just eating smaller meals would help my gut Microbiome replenish to where the good guys are thriving and the bad guys are dying off just by not eating huge amounts instead of fasting, so that I would not have to digest so much and give my gut Microbiome time to thrive😅?

      Hey! Not sure which test you used but the one I use doesnt give diagnosis but it does give food recommendations to heal all issues that came up from the test to balance

    You can do a water Kefir. Especially if you cannot do dairy. Milk Kefir is great but is dairy. I love your video. Gonna try this.

      Goats milk kefir is great if you don't like dairy. Before going vegan I used to drink it a lot. I added a large dash of cinnamon powder (1/2 teaspoon), which made it truly delicious.
      I've made lots of water kefir but it requires sugar from fruit, life dates or figs to fully activate.

      I've been doing omad for about 6 years now. I just eat until I'm full. I've never measured or anything like that. Never had any issues with losing muscle. You can check out videos from Dr.Jasonn Fung he was very helpful. When I took the fear out of the thought of hurting myself your body will do everything for you.

      That is an amazing testimonial from Jessie!!! And Tina, there is a lot of fear that is spread out there and most of it is nonsense, the biggest thing I have found with protein is if I dont eat enough in the meal sometimes I can get hungry later in the day, if I eat enough this never happens. But this is a personal experience! I am not worried about losing muscle because your body will use lose and dead skin before it uses active useful tissue like that! and We just need as women 50 grams to maintain any muscle we have based on minimums. With that said I still try to be around 60-100 grams but I dont necessarily need to track and I dont have a hard time getting enough. I wouldn't stress about it! But you could track in an app if you are worried, I like the carbon diet coach app

    Just found your channel so I subscribed! Just now doing research on IF and wanted to know your thoughts on taking prescriptions, OTC medicines (supplements)and toothpaste in the morning. Will they break a fast?

      You’ll want to talk to your doctor about prescriptions. Most of the time it’s fine, but there are some medications that you need to be careful with while fasting since the dose is based on body weight and assumes you’ll be eating enough food for that body weight. Example: certain antidepressants have a bad effect with prolonged fasting which can include seizures.

      Generally that stuff won’t break your fast. You can totally brush your teeth. Just be mindful with medications.

    How do I fast when I have an ulcer? If I try to fast more than about 10hrs MAX, I end up in unbelievable pain and anxiety and vomiting pure stomach acid. It takes a week or 2 to get back to homeostasis without medications.

    Can u check ur blood type food list to avoid and see if the same foods are on that list compared to ur new list of foods to avoid

      I retested after healing and my foods on all lists changed! So I doubt the list would be the same as blood type list since it’s a changing thing with your gut environment

    Ugh I ate tonight and finished by 8:15. It’s now 12:30 am and I have been experiencing gas in upper GI area and am extremely bloated. It’s not normal. I look like I’m pregnant my stomach is so huge. 😮 I had to get up and walk around the discomfort was so bad.

      If you find the creamer helps you fast longer it is probably fine, if you find that you get hunger or stomach growling after consuming that I would try doing iced black coffee, diluting with water to cut bitterness and add some cinnamon and try that!

      Hey! I haven't read or heard anything in any of the books I've listened to that say coffee would be bad for leaky gut, black coffee has many benefits and is considered a fermented food, I wouldnt personally worry about consuming black coffee while fasting

    I don't recommend women with hormonal imbalances or stressed to fast. If they do, no more than 14-16 hours. Have you tried viomes supplements? Great tips by the way.

      Thank you! I use the supplements daily! Hard to say if they have made a difference because I started them from the beginning of the healing, but my results were so dramatic I just keep doing what got me here! :)

      Shes likely referring to the cortisol as fasting is a stressor on the body, but this is a hermetic stress which means it makes you stronger. I think its best to feel your body out and do what feels right for you! If you don't feel good fasting that would be your signal :)

    I greatly admire your ability to work at healing your body and sharing your story...but PLEASE be aware that Viome is not a good fit for many people. I am very disappointed in my Viome results based on the fact that although they say it is customized to an individual in reality their results are pretty much 1 size fits all. I have been dealing with their customer service for a couple of weeks and they are very polite, but the fact is they do not back their results. I went to file a complaint at BBB and was truly shocked to see 47 complaints against them. My bad not to check before paying $150.
