Does your cadence have to be fast in order to be fast, Is it possible to generate lots of speed but have a slower cadence but also maintaining all the other mechanics like shin angle?
i love all your videos but six months in (i played when i was a kid and then took time out) im banging up against a physiological wall that somewhere up in my hip flexors there is pain every time i skate real hard that takes a long time to heal :(
Incredible info here. I have a three year old who is learning how to skate and this will be gold to his development

A DSS logo would look great printed on that outfit

Hey Nick, check out Downhill Skating System 4 "Six Weeks To A Faster First Step" my friend 👍
How you get deep shin angle without loosening the laces in turn making your ankles less stable during turns and crossovers?
Have to find what works best for you. Stable and comfortable yet still able to achieve NHL standard shin and Y-Angle.

Need to train the weak links my friend. Making them stronger will do wonders for your body.
about the last point: you’re supposed to strike with the heel then? not like run on the balls of your feet? does this translate to inlines?
Correct and Marsblades it does yes, because of the rocker.
awesome video
Thanks Chris 👍
