Can I use Dehancer to start grading straight from Slog3 to achieve a good grading or there needs to be some color correction first before jumping into dehancer? 2. Can Dehancer lite do the same job as achieving that cinematic look or only the full version can allow that? Thank you.
1. of course dehancer has inbuilt color profiles of various cameras this assures perfect color management without the need for converting to rec709 by hand , that said you don’t necessarily need any adjustments before dehancer, in the premiere pro illustration all edits where within dehancer. 2 with dehancer lite you get all film stocks grain bloom and other effects, what you’d be missing would be the halation and gate weave and if you’re using resolve the inbuilt halation is not so bad and to think of it it’s not every time halation is necessary.
@minlafelix you need to load the luts on premiere pro or whatever software check the video “what is a lut” towards the end there’s instructions on how to use it.
