7:51 I've had the same problem. I usually use volumetric highlights with occasional edging, but recently I've taken it upon myself to practice the 'Eavy Metal style to improve my brush control. I always make the first highlight too small, and I have to go back to expand it to fit the second and third.
best thing about watching your stuff Rob is how you teach colour theory. So many channels don’t mention it so it’s been a great learning tool for understanding the nitty gritty of WHY stuff looks good. Plus, of course. the awesome results when i follow your steps!
Great work, as always. It's perfect. No need for lightning on the armour. I wish I was skilled and patient enough to paint a whole army like that. Thanks for sharing!!
