......Look at this wonderful guide showing me the exact blue I wanted for my own nightlords done quickly thus allowing me more time to paint lighting bolts....*Steals*. Yeah so 60 Infantry when?
I don't really maint enouth tanks to warrant it, but fuck if that sponge edge highlighting method doesn't sound super appealing for the results and natural variation it adds. I know this video is 2 months old, but for that oversprayed mud, I think it would tie into the model and read as what it is alot better if you added a mud texture paint (either make your own from brown paint and sand, or buy some from Valjeo or AK, Gw's is painfully overpriced for what it is). Been bingeign your videos, great stuff! Earned a sub :)
First time I have seen one of your videos, I have quite a large night lords army myself this will make things a lot easier! Also where did you manage to find those symbols?
an alternative solution for the metallics would have been to use ratling grime instead of the black, and then sponge/stipple on the silver. Nice weathered, sharp look
Hrmmmm off the top of my head - vallejo Gory Red spray prime - white zenithal spray - vallejo sun yellow spray over white - monument hobbies golden yellow sponge weathering
Love this tutorial and hoping to use it for my infantry squads! As a non-airbrush user, do you have any suggestions on how to apply the grime without one? Hoping a future video reveals all... 👀
@@lovedeathdice ah awesome, thanks for the advice! The other question I'd have is on the best way to fix any mistakes on the blue? You mentioned it being tricky 😂
Sooooo Alan Wake 2 freaking rocks right?
WOOOOOOOOOW! Not only a Love, Death, and Dice video, but a video for the glory of the 8th legion. Ave Dominus Nox
Ave Dominus Nox! I believe Night Lords listen to Death Metal.
Really high production value for a small TH-cam channel. Subbed!
Ave Dominus Nox! Enjoyed the video
My dude, your production quality is awespme. Keep it up.
Awesome tutorial! I love the overspray tip for the treads too.

First time ive seen your channel and its a vid of my favourite legion. Subbed.
Gonna use some of these techniques on my forces.
Is there going to be an infantry painting video? Would all these tank techniques work just as well on them?
My mans tearing up about Alexander's son while he's painting all these guns black
Multiple times I might add
Looks great

Those are from pop goes the monkey!

Is ratling grime opaque enough to cover the blue?
Definitely, although the blue might still show through on the edges as the contrast paints are designed to not cover those@@lovedeathdice
Stipple sparingly with this technique with a light silver@@lovedeathdice
This looks amazing!!
Question..for the first 3 steps, what colors would you use if u were doing imperial fist....
Hrmmmm off the top of my head
- vallejo Gory Red spray prime
- white zenithal spray
- vallejo sun yellow spray over white
- monument hobbies golden yellow sponge weathering
that was fun! sub'd (also careful with those 24hr challenges, i hear they burn you out pretty fast)(also also enjoy AW2!)
Thank you! I only like to do them on occasion, back to slow painting for me :P
Nice and interesting painting methods! What song was it during the showcase?
what size jewelry chains are those wanted some chains for my 30k Blood angels and Black templars tanks.
It's a mix of 1mm and 2mm!
Its 'Nines GG' but glad to be one of your new stickers brother lol. Ave dominus nox!
DANG. haha thank you for the support!!!
@@lovedeathdice to be fair it wasnt capitalized properly lol. don't worry, I chuckled at "nins egg"
Love it. ❤ Can you tell me the list that you use?
It varies so much. My methodology was that i wanted a little of everything for this army so i haven't found the optimum list yet.
Love this tutorial and hoping to use it for my infantry squads! As a non-airbrush user, do you have any suggestions on how to apply the grime without one? Hoping a future video reveals all... 👀
You can always brush on the grime with a giant brush! It'll just take a while :P
@@lovedeathdice ah awesome, thanks for the advice! The other question I'd have is on the best way to fix any mistakes on the blue? You mentioned it being tricky 😂
@samparkinson3236 sadly no, you'd have to recreate the gradient with really thin paint over many layers
@lovedeathdice ahh that's a shame, guess I'll have to be more careful! Thanks for the help!
Correction; nobody loves tanks more than imperial guard
You got me. New video inbound
Is the warlord titan going to be allied to the night-lords?
