  • Most overlooked part while diagnosing your AC in a 2010 Town and Country. Saved me a lot of money from the dealerships.

    dude thank you for posting this, i did the blower motor in mine and all of the sudden the ac clutch stopped engaging so i was ready to just call it a day and throw a compressor in until i did one last search and found your video. 2 minutes later i have air blowing cold again... cant believe they didnt put even a little tab holding that wire in or anything

    Man I want to thank you for this video. I replaced the squirrel cage fan for my ac. When I put it back together no ac. I looked for any loose wires but did not find any. I have gone through everything else. I was getting ready to replace the compressor then I saw your video. I went and look sure enough it was out. Plugged it back in and it works. Thanks for saving me a ton of money and headaches.

    You just saved me from being stupid. Not knowing cost money. My mechanic never run into this, but looked at this video, plugged in the wire and now it works. Reason the wire was off was that a blower motor was replace and wire not reattached. 5 min fix. Thanks. Jim Mc G

      There is no information regarding this any where online. I'm glad this helped.

    Thanks for this. Video sir. This was my problem. It is now fixed. I’m ecstatic!!! It’s to hot for the ac not to work.

      Anytime, they shouldn't make cars like this and not post information like this for the consumer.

    I have a 2008 T&C 3.3 and I just added a can of Freon to it because my AC doesn't work, I don't hear the clutch engaging either, was that how your AC was also. now I'm going to check that wire under the dash.

    • @cbrowie6329

      @@shaunsfrench1942 my freon was full and the clutch failed to engage after I changed an actuator that controls blend which is in close proximity of that AC evap temp sensor. That sensor could go bad and cause the same problem. But if you happened to be in that area under the glove box, you may have unintentionally disconnected like I did.

      @@cbrowie6329 I checked that wire, it wasn't disconnected, I unplugged it and pushed it back in... I also turned both temp knobs to hot and cold a few times and nothing. so it sat a few hrs and now its cool but not ice cold. its kind of cool and cloudy out the past few days so I wont tell until the weather gets hot again. but before it was nothing but warm air coming out.

      someone also told me to check my coolant and add coolant idk how that be connected, I have replaced t stat a few months ago.

    • @cbrowie6329
      @cbrowie6329  24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@shaunsfrench1942 they may be telling you to check the coolant because if the engine is running hot it will disengage the AC. It maybe a bad AC evap temp sensor (the part that wire connects to). And since the clutch doesn't engage, it might be low refrigerant. Maybe your friend meant refrigerant instead of coolant, as some will use the two interchangeably. If it's low on refrigerant for whatever reason, the lack of pressure from the freon will not engage the AC compressor clutch.

      @@cbrowie6329 I'm thinking it maybe the AC compressor, because I've noticed its always spinning (CLUTCH) you know how it suppose to turn off and on, it is constantly spinning even with AC and heat off.
