    So just replaced bearings? No gears ?

    • @genarofoxj
      @genarofoxj 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, because in my case the bearings was the one making the noise

    to anyone watching, I've modded and know a lot of people who modded v6 mustangs, just get an 8.8 and be done with it, i've seen more then a couple BONE STOCK motor V6 Mustangs blast a 7.5 to pieces after wasting hours and hours putting a posi and the gears they wanted on their 7.5, then realize they could have just put in an 8.8 in half the time for the same $$$ if not less if you look around, Im the V6 mustang guy, I've modded 4.0s 3.8s etc one of the best parts of the 2011-2014 3.7L V6 cars is Ford finally broke open the piggy bank and put in a proper 8.8

    Mine was.making that noise pretty sure I'm to late shit is clanking bad now it's under warranty what you think it is mine a 2010 gt

    My '07 GT is doing it only on deceleration. Any load at all it goes away. Ford garage says it needs new differential $1700 (although they never even took the cover off) so took to two different independents that say no biggie and don't worry about it until it makes noise both when accelerating and decelerating. My 94 year old dad says he suspects carrier bearing.

    You want to quite down the rear dif? add a third of a bottle of "hub oil" and i guaranty your noise will go away.

    my diff also whine on acceleration and deceleration, but sound like you have,i only have when driving 93mph.. i thought that gear set was bad but it was changed before by another guy and looks new, is it possible that it is same problem as you have?

      First be careful with the police if you reach 100 and they catch you can go to jail, second it could be the Bering, sometimes buying cheap bearing can get bad again, I prefer to spend in good parts specially if its a difficult to access and replace part , at 93 that's pretty high revolutions ,but also what king of gear oil did you add some of them are better eliminating the noise, I used purple max .

      @@gjl07i used liqui moly 75-140.. i also had small metal pieces in oil, we cleaned diff, then checked after 500km and there was another small metal piece in oil.. idk where is it coming from because gears look new and without any damage.. im hopeless 😅

    Hi, nice video, when the noise was coming at accelerating or decelerating ?

    • @genarofoxj
      @genarofoxj 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Both, but.it was lauder when accelerating .

  • @Zilxnce

    The noise it made when you moved the driveshaft. Mine makes a similar noise when driving over bumpy roads at 5-20 miles. Would you happen to know what it could be

    • @genarofoxj
      @genarofoxj 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, have you check your U-joint ,do you have vibrations?

    • @Zilxnce
      @Zilxnce 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@genarofoxj Checked my transmission mount and it was tight. Checked my driveshaft and U-joints and they were fine. No vibrations just a clunk noise. I was also told it could be my lower ball joints which were also my first guess.

    So you just replace the carrier bearings and put it back an and all good now?

    • @gjl07
      @gjl07  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No,I did replace the whole bearing but just one side because the other side didn't have a noise.
