Also the water pressure matters. Dont keep the washing machine at the terrace or at the same floor of water tank. It should be atleast one floor below the water storage.

Check if the water flow is good and there is no blockage in the inlet pipe inside the machine. Use the torch to see if no blockage at all, I hink you should call the technician.
