I have watched a few videos on this and I have to say you showed everything in a logical order with great information and you didn't ramble on for 30 minutes in the video THANK YOU.
I used your video a couple years ago for help on my Marauder. I thank you for sharing this!! It made it 10 times easier, especially since you step by step with specs. Very much appreciated.
I did it the same as you but I didn't replace the metal plates because there was no warping or glazing but i prob should have. she was slipping when I opened the bike up to pass (plenty slack on cable) i believe it was prob just the weak OEM springs or the fibers were worn ,21k miles original clutch. The PO used car motor oil in the bike as well. I installed new heavy duty springs so the next fine day i will try her out and hopefully everything is good. Thanks for the info and excellent vid.
Sharp edge out.... I have done this on all my clutches... although it is more important that you install the steel drive plates with the like edges going the same direction. It doesn’t matter if the rounded edges or the sharp edges are facing outward, as long as the edges are facing the same direction.
Hi thanks for the vid there's one thing i need to verify with you that i cannot find info on. its about the metal clutch plates, you said at about the 4:20 mark that the sharp side faces out I just wanted to verify that this is the correct way to put them in as it seems like my metal clutch plates came out rounded side facing out (sharp side facing in towards motor) but i cant be sure. If you could verify what way they go that way and why (just so ill know) that would be great. thanks
just replaced my 01 marauder clutch following your directions. I started it up and the clutch when fully released is still slipping even with slack in the cable, and when fully pulled in it is still grabbing just enough to slightly bog the engine. any ideas?
Hi you didn't say how many fiber plates there were or steel plates I have a manual but not saying how many of each plates I need want to do the job myself but need to get the right amount of plates
Why aren't these bolts made of steel !?!?!?!? my fucking torque works fine, put in a vise with 8ft lb set, barely twisted it and it clicked. Yet while using it on two of these bolts, i broke one bolt off in the plate and broke one aluminum housing because it never clicked. FUCK ME !

Should really put in the Description the part numbers and where you got them I am having a hard time finding the pressure plate bolts.
Great video!! Thx for taking the time to record it! This is on my list of things to do. The parts have been ordered.

How many miles on this bike before the clutches need replaced? I would think they would last a long time.

What is the part number for the clutch cover gasket?
What are the order of the cover bolts? Mine got jumbled during the process. (Kicked the plate they were on)
