Aoa. Jazak Allah khair for such a wise and even-handed answer. As a convert who attended a typical North American public school, I would never wish for my children to be educated in such an environment. It is stressful and confusing for young people to be forced into such a liberal and unstructured environment where they are exposed to flirting, dating, and premarital sex, all while being surrounded by other young people who lack maturity, self-control, and interpersonal skills. Teenagers who don't engage in dating are bullied and made to feel like there is something wrong with them.

I remember at college, girls who came from the all-girls school were obsessedddd with boys whereas girls from mixed school wondered why the hell they were getting so excited 🤷🏻‍♀️ so maybe the answer is a correct balance and modesty from both genders?

Aren’t you putting the blame on women in your comment. Cast down your eyes, practice well and get married when you can. And it’s your duty to look after your wife and your children. Learn your duties...as a man.

Allah know I have know the knowledge I have now when we bought our house 20 years ago. I’m still don’t know so please doctor explain to me what I can do? I can’t sell it because my husband don’t agreed to it. My only hope is that Prophet Mohammed SAW said we must interfere with the rulings of the country you’re living in. May Allah forgive me if I say it wrong. What do say about my question? I look forward to read or hear from you.

Sheikh, Isn't it a ruling in Islam that men and women should lower their gaze and not stare at each other. How then can a Female Muslim teacher accept that men will be looking at her while she teaches? Is such a job permissible if her earning is not necessary for her livelihood (husband's income is sufficient)

Looking at non-awrah (non-private areas) of the opposite gender when there is a genuine need & without lust is permissible. What is forbidden is to look with the desire/lust or look at the private area.
In the case of man the private area is navel to knee and in the case of woman (according to majority scholars) is the whole body excluding the face and hands.
So the scholars say that a woman may look at a man apart from his awrah (navel to knee) provided that her looking is free of lust and that no temptation is feared. The prophet (pbuh) let A'ishah watch a number of Abysinnians while they were engaging in spear play in the courtyard of the prophet's mosque; she watched their performances until she had enough and retired.
      [Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 907, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 892]
Similarly, a man is permitted to look at a woman's face and hands, since they are not part of her awrah, provided that the looking is without lust and no temptation is feared. A'ishah narrated that her sister Asma' once came to the Prophet (pbuh) wearing thin garment which revealed her body. The prophet (pbuh) averted his gaze and said to her,
"Oh Asma,' when a woman begins to menstruste, nothing should be seen of her except this and this." and he pointed to his face and hands.
[ Source: Sunan Abī Dāwūd 4104
Grade: Hasan li ghayri (fair due to external evidence) according to Al-Albani ].
