The trans Am system drains all the particles stored in the suit's condensers. On top of that the strain placed on the gn drive with its limiters disabled leaves it operating at a reduced performance after trans Am completion. Trans Am is a double-edged sword. Used improperly, it would leave the suit vulnerable to any remaining enemies. It's not a straight power-up, it's a tactic to use. Edit: although compared to other power-ups it's drawbacks are quiet tame.
@@willybilly4213 well unless ypu have the twin drives that allows you to keep fighting at a satisfactory level, or you cut transam before you run out of particles like what the 3.5 gen gundams do.
@@zzephyrenex5320 yes and no. output kinda relies on how much particles the condensors can store and how many condensors are there (minus whatever particle leaking through broken limbs and what not). However with twin drives, you basically have 4 drives that resupply the condensors quickly after using all of transam. We do not know if we can have a cube drive or not, but theoretically you can have a few seperate twin drive system. But then we have the issue of where to put the gn drives on the suit. Or we just have the alvatore which has like 7 gn drives. -_-.
@@VoidTemplar You can't have multiple twin drive systems. ANd twin drive isn't just having 2 drives on the MS, it's having 2 SYNCHED drives, they square the output, if a single drive outputs 10 whatevers, alvaaron at the end of S1 had 7 drives, so it outputted 70... Twin drive would output 100. You simply can't have more than that, you can have more drives in one MS, arche has 3, but to go beyond twin is basically impossible. and ieven if you did... there's no gain or benefit for this basically impossible feat. Hell it's a miracle the 00 or qant even work with their twin drives, drives didn't sync up right and neither would work
Trams-Am System from Gundam 00 is a Beast.. 🔥🔥
It kinda got cheapened once it got to a point where EVERYONE could do it though

@@dddoomsaurace2350 I’m glad that Trans-Am from a genuine Twin Drive is still somewhat ‘special’

Underated video.
GOOD TRANSAM !
Did i skip something or I didnt see Gadessa/Garazzo/GNX IV trans am?
No, you didnt. This clip has not the unit that you say
Trans-Am is the best special power of all Gundam series. It's because it won't give you any side effects.
