Greetings from Buenos Aires.This is perfect, just perfect. The notes in the violin and written in the staff. i have just learnt twinkle twinkle little star and now this one .
PS i bought my first violin a week ago.
This even makes a nice birthday greeting to post on my Facebook friends' pages. This video is a gift.

May I ask you, is it possible to ask for help with a tutorial like the one you made above for the song, goodness of God song for violin... I realize that it might not be possible, but if it is i totally ty for it. My little girl would like to sing it and I would like to be an instrument that accompanies her, but I have only just begun violin and would need the help as you show so well above in your tutorial. ty

Sweet this is awesome! I suck really badly with reading notes. My teacher would get mad at me for memorizing the songs that I was suppose to learn while "reading" the sheet music. She din't realize I couldn't read music until a while later and then she would try to teach me how to read them but I dint like it so I just play by memorization. A bad thing to do but eh i'm horrible at reading. Anyways Thanks!

the little dots mean hold the note and the white spots on the note means vibrato?
Not exactly. The dotted eighth notes and half notes (white spots as you described) indicates the value of the note. The vibrato can be heard more when playing a longer note.
reading notes is confusing, every time I think I almost understand I watch a different video and I'm lost again. lol
