    This is an excellent question panel. 💪🏻 and although I think you addresses why the lady would be more dehydrated I dont think you really answered if she needs to be concerned or up her salt intake to combat dehydration or if it's an issue to be concerned with.

    Minute 6:50 - Dry eyes = lack of salt balance, yes! Experiencing that right now on keto. Thank you! Where does the hair loss come from? Autophagy? Hormonal rebalance as the androgens reduce/normalize? How long will it last? Female, experiencing extreme thinning on top/temples.

    I agree that each patient lives a different relationship with food,
    A person who is constantly hungry is a clear signal from the body that you are not eating food with real nutrition, the lack of nutrient causes your brain to send hunger signals again in hopes that you will put into your body what it actually nourishes. your brain,
    An eating disorder develops several serious problems with malnutrition, obesity, lack of mood, lack of stimulation for life, and with that it leads to depression and suicide.
    A small part of this as proof is, no matter what your financial social position, no matter what your intellectual position, or your intelligence in general,
    Rich or poor anyway,
    Depression can manifest itself in billions of different people, but they all have pretty much the same symptoms,
    Before depression manifests itself clearly, there are several signs that are sent, one of them is the famous laziness, which is actually not laziness but lack of energy in the body, due to malnutrition of the body and mind,
    Gratitude to all of you for helping so many sick people,

      Just to weigh in here, I appreciate the level of sophistication provided. It’s not above my head, anything that is… I have my friend DuckDuckGo. : )
      Keep the deep knowledge coming. And all the back up info is quite useful, knowing the mechanisms helps one to understand, and remember why one would want to make any particular dietary alterations/improvements/deletions!!

    Dr Paul Mason. Hi yes. I have a question lol. Pretending I'm in the audience. I can do 2 meals a day but i eat 3. Usually one meal I'm not hungry... But im trying to put out on weight (ive gained 8 lbs in 2 or 3 months). Maybe I could eat more in one sitting but i seem to have a stomach injury (undiagnosed) so i think 3 meals make sense. Do you think i could gain weight on 2 meals. Writing this out I realise i should get diagnosed...

    • @eugeniebreida1583
      @eugeniebreida1583 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Stomach injury sounds rough, hoping you found a qualified, kind!, physician to sort you out.
      PS: I am also trying to gain weight, and I would shoot for taking it a little more slowly than you are… Just my two cents. Of course I don’t know your weight, I am a lightweight so 8 pounds would be a lot!

    That was an interesting question on calcium scores going up on low carb diets. I convinced my brother to go low carb to control his type 2 because I had been low carb for years to control my type 2 and it worked well for me and him. His fasting was 75/80 and his post 2 hours numbers ran 95/100. He was low carb for three years and carnivore for the last two years. A year before he started low carb our local hospital had a special deal for $99.00 on Calcium CT scans and we both took them. My score was 1247 and his was a bit over 400. A year later I had a major heart attack. When that happened I went on the Pritikin Program which isn't vegan but close and very low fat and very low cholesterol. Now five years later since my heart attack our hospital ran another special for a Calcium score again and this time the cost was $75.00. We both went and took them. His score shot up to 800 while mine dropped like a rock to a bit more than 400 (by the way the doctor told me this was impossible. You can't get rid of calcium. He was wrong). We traded places. He then went to his cardiologist and discovered severe blockages of several arteries (80 to 95 percent) and had six stents placed. I'm not sure this will keep him from having a heart attack but it did drop his blood pressure 20 points for this systolic. So, perfect blood sugar numbers didn't prevent the low carb diet from nuking his arteries and it did the same to mine, but more severely because I'd been on low carb for over two decades. All that fat is great for type 2 but it will kill your arteries.

      @eugeniebreida1583 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so very much for sharing your magical story. I’m really sorry about your heart attack. But so glad for your reverse calcium scores, wow : )
      For my take away, what are you eating these days? What do you recommend for arterial Health? I have an auto immune condition which definitely makes up the microvasculature… That’s my arteries of the upmost concern.
      I get so confused by these Authoritative figures pushing proteins and fats… In my opinion feeding ones microbio with a variety of plant material is beneficial. The micro biome controls our health.
      In any case, I would really appreciate it if you had a chance to get back to me!

      Please list your average daily diet for reference sake. Not all low carb diets are in fact healthy. It takes a thorough understanding of insulin to appreciate a true animal based diet.

    • @shansen008
      @shansen008 ปีที่แล้ว

      I respect your experience, though anecdotal. We would need to find out what other variables could have been at play, what your diets were like BEFORE going low carb or meat only, etc.
      Reason being that there are many many people who eat Carnivore for years and yet dont have any issues with calcified arteries.

    After losing 30 pounds and reaching my goal weight of 185, I modified my keto diet by adding raw kale and broccoli every day. I’m six feet tall and very active in sports and use HRV for my training. Am I considered fat adapted with the extra fiber? My cycling and running has improved a lot.

      don't poison yourself with oxalates.
      Kale is tad amount to poisoning yourself. It is NOT healthy.

      sounds good to me, I would add all the leafy greens that you wish… And broccoli, etc.
      I have a fair understanding of nutrition, and I would recommend that you cook these vegetables, and order to reduce the anti-nutrients which will suck up/render unabsorbed your minerals eaten in the same meal.
      Most vegetable nutrition is more bio available when cooked. Not over cooked :-)

    I fasted for 40+ days -
    age 38 approx -
    no issues - no doctors involved. On day 42 - I passed 5 candida plants - looked like translucent jellyfish + tentacles. The body was about 1.5 cm, tentacles approx 4 cm in length. These were recognised/verified by a GP. Realise now that these candida plants finally died because (presumably) there was no food (sugar) in the body.
    btw.
    Did my body make sure I kept going to day 42 ?
    You bet! (imo)
    ps. I thought they were cancers.

      Michael, if you are referring to Dr Sher, he was responding to a Q about ♥️ CAC score (Ca in Coronary artery, not serum Ca). Ca deposits in heart are generally understood not to be reversible, tho' there is some hope/evidence of reversals with K2 etc. But your scorn isn't justified here. Not relevant that Mg and Ca are paired in serum.
