Thank you for putting this together!! You've done an amazing job and this is much appreciated. Being retired from the computer industry over 20 years I was completely lost until I found your video. Keep up the great job you are doing teaching and reaching out to so many!

What a GREAT beginner tutorial on some of the highlights of Win 11. A new laptop is arriving today and I wanted to re-acquaint myself with Windows as I've been using Chrome, pretty exclusively, over this past year, since retirement. I'm actually looking forward to checking it out; thanks to THIS "class", Mr. Kaceli. I'm going to jump into your Basic Computer Skills for the Workplace next. I only wish you had text-books to mirror your videos!! Thanks a million; you do us all a great service.

Thank you Susan for the feedback. I hope your new computer is working out well and that you made good use of the time on this tutorial. Textbooks are a great idea but time consuming and then technology changes very rapidly.

thank you. My technology is very old my laptop was nearly 10 years old, my phone was 5 years old, and my printer was 7 years old. The last laptop I had was a windows 8. It's very outdated and with my college classes I needed something newer, but I quickly discovered that I don't know much about new computers or technology in general. I'm someone that uses the device till it basically dies on me. I recently got a windows 11 computer, but I had no clue what I was doing till I watched your video. It made the transition much easier for me to handle and I don't feel as overwhelmed.

Mr. Kaceli - As a retired educator, I must applaud your very detailed tutorial. Thank you for making this available. I have a new Windows 11 laptop arriving tomorrow, and your tutorial gives me the confidence to be productive immediately. Kudos to you, and a hearty thank you!

As a senior (old one), and a MAC user for the past 15 years ... I have taken the plunge into the world of Windows 11 with a new start. YOU HAVE BEEN A GOD SEND. I can't thank you enough for taking the time it took and all the energy (I don't have) to create this for anyone who is new to Windows. I was really beginning to wonder if I should have stayed with Mac, but you have made me feel a lot less stressed with this class. I know I'm just supporting one billionaire after another, but change is good for the brain. AND, you are making this way easier than it could ever have been without you. THANKS from the bottom of my elderly heart!! I hope there's more to come. I got my teapot boiling & I'm ready to learn!!!

I am starting Windows 11 by myself. I was wondering how I can manage and was looking for suitable guidelines and training videos. I tried and found many options. Some were complicated, some were focused on specific areas. and some specialized in special advanced level. For such scenario, I am being senior citizen, retired from research institution, NARC, and working as adjunct Professor, at IAAS, TU, found the most appropriate material for me. I salute you for your efforts for providing such excellent tutorial on windows 11. I found very easy way to learn Windows 11. Many and many thanks.

Overall I found this video to be very helpful, thorough, and easy to follow. Thank you!!! My only two criticisms are: 1) In the first 45 minutes of this tutorial, the repeated comparison to a Mac computer was wasted on me as I am not an Apple fan. 2) The background transition music reminded me of elevator muzak from the early 90s. Everything else was excellent.

Nice training thanks. I realise i spend considerable amount of time looking for the position of your mouse.
If you can make it thicker, colourful, trails.. or more highlights might make it easier.
With learnit training, i noticed that made it easier to follow the actual lessons. They had a lots of highlights, marking, and so on.
    I hope its help, thanks.

Excellent presentation - very useful, clear, and well-organized. Thanks so much for making this freely available. One very minor pedantic nit pic - you might drop the question marks at the end of section titles which are not questions. For example, "How to Use Windows 11 Search?" would be best without the trailing question mark. Alternatively, you could rephrase these as questions like, "How Do I Use Windows 11 Search?" Keep up the great work!

Very useful indeed, except that you often say 'Go here' without saying where 'here' is, and the cursor whips away before we can see where you are talking about. Mostly because the taskbar icons are covered by a line of text obscuring the icons. Also "Show my taskbar on all displays" is greyed out so it doesn't work.

Only one on Google Drive. Google changes their stuff too often and the tutorials get outdated very quickly.

Me again - I wanted to start a new comment thread. Do you know how to fix this? The right side of the taskbar has the icons for wireless signal, volume, and power/battery. Yoiu were able to click each icon individually to open their settings, but I have to hover over each individually and then right-click to open the settings. Any idea why that would be different for me, and more importantly, how to change it to the functionality you have?

Wonderful resource, thank you for taking the time. Is there a way to control the almost constant bombardment of adds that windows no doubt is making money on when a person take the windows 11 home version instead of pro? Also, is there a setting that put the laptop into airplane mode when the lid is closed?

I am not aware of getting ads based on the version of Windows. Most likely your computer is infected with some kind of malware or virus. I suggest you use something like Malwarebytes to run a scan. You can refer to this tutorial: th-cam.com/video/SlNHAeGyC2E/w-d-xo.html. Some parts may not be relevant as it was created a couple years ago.

If he would like to improve this video or the next he might think to move the text from where he is pointing to. I was having a hard time seeing where and what he was pointing to. I just got forced by windows to upgrade, and I miss my old 8.1, but on the 24th they shut me down completely.Lost everything on it.

Thank you, Gary, for the feedback. Sorry to hear about the data issue. The data should not disappear just like that. There may be a way to extract the data by connecting the hard drive to another computer and then copy the data out of it.

Thanks for a great tutorial, but a bit disappointed that you never touched on the drives and where you can but your files

    • @KaceliTechTraining

Thanks for pointing that out. Yes, it is crucial and might record a segment and repost at some point. Just in case you need the info: The operating system, programs and data files along with the account profile are typically stored in the C: drive. The USB gadgets you plug in usually map to D or E drive; if you have a DVD drive, that is usually D drive. Network drives usually start with Letter F and on. Google Filestream usually maps as G drive. The old, old computers, that used to have floppy drives, used to have A or B drives for the floppy drives. If you have a second hard drive on your computer, it will usually display as the D drive.
You can change the drive letters for USB drives from Disk Management utility. Do not however change the drive letter of C drive from there as it will cause major issues with the system upon reboot.
