They put a lien on his business and slapped him with a massive fine that drained their account. I said, "yeah, sure" but, dragged my feet for another two weeks before I came in to sign. Not a month later, they filed for bankruptcy. Felt pretty good about it, honestly.

She wanted to stage another shoot, that SHE would be directing the shoot, and that HE was to pay for it. That's when I found out he knew more insults and swearwords than I do.

She said she didn't care, she said "I demand to be next", "I've been waiting and I came before him". Narcissism and selfishness, lots of mentally ill people everywhere. Security took her away so I made sure she waited three or so hours longer.

I did a couple of months in sales so I know how grueling it can be. I too worked commission, but was door-to-door. To put in that many hours is insane, I could only hack it for a couple of months. So yeah, they 100% deserves that pay as even I myself cannot believe how much they were able to do and I think the company thought that too.

Well, in response to the question of what we’d do if we were part of the make a wish girls family or friends….all I have to say is I’d probably have needed bail money.

The mother in the 3rd story sounds like she's fishing for attention and trying to take it from her child. Honestly, I think she isn't a jerk for wanting her mother's wedding to be 4 months difference away. It is a quiet way of saying "boundaries" and to get her own idea for a wedding. Though she should talk to her mother and at least ask why things keep coincidentally lining up. It's too coincidental to buy rings when another buys rings and virtually show the other up with more expensive things.
I'm a retired RN who specialized in pediatrics. With the rag in story 1, I would have immediately walked over to Karen with my metal cane and Scottish burr, growled at her that it was a private reserved area for an event she was not invited to join and when she refused I would have called the police then to have her removed.

I was in a similar position to that commission story. I worked at a verizon authorized dealer. For people who dont know, the nice big verizon stores are owned by the verizon company. Authorized retailers are usually thr smaller outlet mall places and are independent stores that just license the verizon name. A lot less rules to follow. Anyway, i worked my ass off all month so id have a decent commission, I knew I'd be giving my two weeks soon because my school schedule made it impossible to continue there full time. I hated the job, mainly because i hate sales jobs and the dude who owned it had me doing manager level work (training, inventory, tracking sales) for salesperson pay on top of moving me between two other stores without any type of notice, but i sucked it up because the hourly was decent and I needed the money. A dude had quit, came back in a week later to get his commission for the last month he was there, and the dude to his face said "you quit, why would i give you your bonus, you dont deserve it". I asked him later if he can really do that, and he told me "what are they gonna do? Take me to court over 300 dollars? These kids dont know shit." This was back in 2018, i was 28 and a most new hires were 19-22 or so, with very little job experience, much less sales experience. I had worked in sales for years and been working since i was 15 so i know the tricks these places pull. A few days later i called him out in front of other employees and customers, told him what a creep he was, he treats his employees like shit, scams customers by talking them into getting devices on promotion but doesnt tell them the true cost. Overall the same sleazy used car salesman type guy we all know and walked out. Best decision I ever made
I had a karen encounter at Walmart where I didn't have a mask on, this lady was yelling at me to put a mask on. This was like last week so not many people are still woried about COVID its pretty much here to stay. Anyway she yelled at me to put a mask on and was yelling in my face with spit flying everywhere (yes she had her mask on her chin) anyway I let out the loudest belch I could muster and walked away. She just stood there in shock.

I have some knowledge of make-a-wish stuff and wishes are like a "once in a life time" type thing, in a literal and figurtive sense. Not every patient or kid can have it too. The fact the karen did this is EVIL. I really do hope she rots in the deepest part of hell, that satan wouldn't even enter.
I would just make sure the karen knew that this woman had cancer, and if that didn't work, I would record her voice and everything she said on the sly, and then make sure she would be arrested, and basically, she would never be allowed to go to the park, or even allowed to ever come out of her house again, using the cops to help get her out, and play the recordings, and then it would not be my word against hers, but the Karen's own words against her own words, and that she would be unable to have a daughter or even care for a bowl of sea monkeys!

Story 3 the reason that the dynamics of the family would impact her wedding is because it would mean that if the mom happened beforehand the family members who don’t want the mom to marry her new partner would most likely still be mad about it and that would make things extremely awkward and if the mom got married afterwards then there is a high chance that she would copy the entire thing and that would ruin the individuality of the op’s wedding and make the day feel far less special
Well, in response to the question of what we’d do if we were part of the make a wish girls family or friends….all I have to say is I’d probably have needed bail money.

A. There weren't any signs up stating that this was a Make A Wish Fondation Wish production?
B. Why didn't anyone on the Make A Wish Fondation staff tell the Karen that it was a Make A Wish Fondation production?
C. Why didn't they have security? Preferably in the form of off duty law enforcement personnel?
This also reminds me of another Reddit post where the mother of a Make A Wish bullied their child into *NOT* wishing for what they wanted but what the *MOTHER* wanted.
I was wondering the same, the karen was wrong but oh boy, the staff made a terrible job in de escalating the situation, that alone had the possibility of ruining the kid's wish.

The mother in the 3rd story sounds like she's fishing for attention and trying to take it from her child. Honestly, I think she isn't a jerk for wanting her mother's wedding to be 4 months difference away. It is a quiet way of saying "boundaries" and to get her own idea for a wedding. Though she should talk to her mother and at least ask why things keep coincidentally lining up. It's too coincidental to buy rings when another buys rings and virtually show the other up with more expensive things.

I'm a retired RN who specialized in pediatrics. With the rag in story 1, I would have immediately walked over to Karen with my metal cane and Scottish burr, growled at her that it was a private reserved area for an event she was not invited to join and when she refused I would have called the police then to have her removed.
First Mully had a make a wish accident and now a Karen was being cruel to a child.
Story 3 the parents of op maybe divorced and op wants both parents there and with mom getting/is married so close to op's wedding the dad could possibly be upset to see his ex move on... or something similar

One of my childhood bullies had cancer but I never wished ill on her.
I was in a similar position to that commission story. I worked at a verizon authorized dealer. For people who dont know, the nice big verizon stores are owned by the verizon company. Authorized retailers are usually thr smaller outlet mall places and are independent stores that just license the verizon name. A lot less rules to follow.
Anyway, i worked my ass off all month so id have a decent commission, I knew I'd be giving my two weeks soon because my school schedule made it impossible to continue there full time. I hated the job, mainly because i hate sales jobs and the dude who owned it had me doing manager level work (training, inventory, tracking sales) for salesperson pay on top of moving me between two other stores without any type of notice, but i sucked it up because the hourly was decent and I needed the money. A dude had quit, came back in a week later to get his commission for the last month he was there, and the dude to his face said "you quit, why would i give you your bonus, you dont deserve it". I asked him later if he can really do that, and he told me "what are they gonna do? Take me to court over 300 dollars? These kids dont know shit." This was back in 2018, i was 28 and a most new hires were 19-22 or so, with very little job experience, much less sales experience. I had worked in sales for years and been working since i was 15 so i know the tricks these places pull. A few days later i called him out in front of other employees and customers, told him what a creep he was, he treats his employees like shit, scams customers by talking them into getting devices on promotion but doesnt tell them the true cost. Overall the same sleazy used car salesman type guy we all know and walked out.

This was like last week so not many people are still woried about COVID its pretty much here to stay. Anyway she yelled at me to put a mask on and was yelling in my face with spit flying everywhere (yes she had her mask on her chin) anyway I let out the loudest belch I could muster and walked away. She just stood there in shock.

I remember this one time during PE and my school the coach lets us choose games most of the time because it’s almost summer vacation and we got to choose games one time and a lot of people were choosing the same game but then when coach said another game only like maybe one or two students raised up their hand and everyone started chuckling laughing a little bit but then the Autistic kid laughed so loud and pointed at the person who was the only one raising your hand for that game. I wanted to tell that kid with autism that he shouldn’t be pointing and laughing, but I couldn’t because then people would think I’d seem like a Karen and go tell a teacher or principal or someone.

The police should have been called and had you explained beforehand to the police what was going on they would have been very discreet and arresting this woman and maybe tossing her butt in jail for a while. I'm so sorry for the girl that had cancer I hope she's doing better.

I have some knowledge of make-a-wish stuff and wishes are like a "once in a life time" type thing, in a literal and figurtive sense. Not every patient or kid can have it too. The fact the karen did this is EVIL. I really do hope she rots in the deepest part of hell, that satan wouldn't even enter.

I would just make sure the karen knew that this woman had cancer, and if that didn't work, I would record her voice and everything she said on the sly, and then make sure she would be arrested, and basically, she would never be allowed to go to the park, or even allowed to ever come out of her house again, using the cops to help get her out, and play the recordings, and then it would not be my word against hers, but the Karen's own words against her own words, and that she would be unable to have a daughter or even care for a bowl of sea monkeys!
