I live in Nanaimo, BC canada, 10 minutes north of Ladysmith. one of my favorite fishing hole is a small lake called Rhododemdron. What about the Arbutus Trees and The Monkey trees? check those ones out, its worth it!!
How did someone “accidentally” cut down Prometheus? A graduate student? There’s got to be some kind of story behind this idiot. As it turns out the story behind it involves two idiots. Donald R. Currey, a geographer and University of North Carolina graduate student, cut down Prometheus, with the help of a park ranger. Curry wanted to know the age of Prometheus. Somehow Curry got his borer stuck in the tree. rRather than leave it there because this is a really old tree, he had a park ranger cut out the borer, killing the tree. Curry (or Currey) didn't really understand the ramifications of what he had done until he started counting rings. I’m sorry that I think he is stupid and thoughtless because, of course, hindsight is 2020, and I treasure trees.
What!? Yeah so what it'll reach the size of West Coast redwoods. Those West Coast woods are still gonna grow while those British woods grow, never reaching their heights
Awesome job 😊
This is interesting, thanks.
In central Queensland they have bottle trees. Some actually look like beer bottles!
