- Dear Versatile, in this video is an in depth tutorial on how to embellish kente with beads. Kente is the most expensive cloth in Ghana and it's worn to special occasions like weddings, durbars. It is mostly worn by the Akan chiefs in Ghana. In recent times brides have been wearing beads embellished sleet and kaba or long dress during their traditional marriages.

It's so lovely and perfect. Everything you do needs a lot of patience and you have more of that and it shows in your work. It must be so therapeutic to sit somewhere quietly getting on with it. I love the sequence and beading... I feel like with a bit of fishing line and loose sequence I can add a sparkle to something simple to turn it amazing. I enjoyed watching it all.
