I'm so happy to see that I'm not the only one who is not in the mood to water plants sometimes. 🙃 I watered the plants on Friday morning before the long weekend of barbecues and talking with friends, and I'm just getting around to(Wednesday) watering again. us plant parents need some TLC, too😊😊😊 hoping you enjoy your planty downtime.

Watching you juggle your chores with Luna and Chai wanting attention made me chuckle as it reminded me of when my girls were very little, esp my younger daughter💖 I had to keep her in a laundry basket or strapped to her stroller while I showered or hung clothes on the line etc cos she just couldn't handle not being right next to me hahaha. It was worth it though as I have a very close bond with both now that they're adults. I'm watching this vid while the fam bam is sleeping (recovering from the flu, which I have dodged so far) and it's so quiet in the house and am feeling so relaxed and in a happy head space. Grateful for another enjoyable vid and the motivation to get my plant chores done (as we move into winter 😩)
So sorry about your alocasias, especially your beautiful Frydek 😢 but I am sure they’ll make a comeback ❤ Definitely keep us updated on their progress 😊

The sol soils mess is so disappointing. It looks like it should be such a good mix with how chunky it is, but those rotted roots don't lie! I'm glad you're getting to switch the soil over!
So glad I just woke up to new plant content ❤ there’s a really bad fire where I live (NS Canada) where a ton of people have lost their homes and pets so far, it’s still burning a few days later and likely will for another few. I’m heartbroken for everyone and their pets and the wildlife 😭 I’ve been trying to stay off social media, so I’ve been glued to TH-cam plant content for a distraction 😔

Certain parts of the USA can see the smoke and smell it from here as well. I’m just hoping they can stop it quickly and that the rain will come sooner than the weekend 😔
I liked the rug on your lanai a lot. Actually I like all your plant themed decorations and accessories. Maybe someday I’ll find a plant theme tee shirt in my size but it won’t be easy as I am nearly 6’ 6” tall. Oh well. Another plant quest I am on is trying to find a Madagascar Palm locally. You got an amazing amount of work done. I need to do what you just did🤣 and I will I just don’t know when. I hope you don’t mind a little suggestion, I know you have a ceiling fan, but do you think maybe having another fan may help with the fungal problems your having. With the temp and humidity getting so high in such a small room maybe you need another fan and get more air movement. Just a thought. 🤷♀️ your plants still look amazing to me! 😊
I've been turning the fan up to medium speed but it's fast and my moss poles dry even more quickly lol. I was talking to my husband and we're going to get the carpet out of there soon hopefully. I think it will help with airflow and humidity and I'm going to redo the other bedroom and take more plants out. There's too many in there! 🤗
How often do you water that pot of dragons breath babies ?? Mine are about ready to be potted up together! I always think I’m supposed to water more when transferring to soil because they’re so used to being moist? Idk. (Rooted the corms in stratum)
I've had it stop the spread before other a different plant I was treating. It sorta dries it up in a way but I keep a close eye on it to make sure it doesn't continue. I mostly end up cutting affected leaves off just to reduce spread but I'll still spray the whole plant down.
