If so, this Business Expenses Spreadsheet presentation will show you how.
Hello and welcome to another Mr. SpreadSheet tutorial.
In this short video we will create a Business Expenses Spreadsheet Template using Excel.
The Business Expenses spreadsheet has been designed to help you easily record your expenses, which we split into 10 different Analysis categories and facilitate a tax calculation.
We have included a Document Link within the template that allow you to view the underlying expenses receipts from within the Excel spreadsheet.
The completed template is easy to use and can be easily adapted to suit your business or personal requirements.
The completed template uses many Excel functions, commands and techniques.
We NAME Ranges, and use the Table Creation Tool,
We create and use Drop Down Boxes,
We employ the SUMIF command.
We use the INSERT Link function
All of which are explained in in the presentation.

This is great thanks, can I ask though? I'm on a Mac and some icons differ slightly, however I cannot get the formula in P5 to 60. It's either 20 or 78.25333333 The written formula is different to your VoiceOver where you say "Point 2 O 5" but O5 is written, please can you clarify as I feel like I'm missing something. Unless a it's PC/Mac thing. Many thanks in advance!

What is the best way to link pdfs and enable me to share the document with my accountant? I don’t want to have to post a USB drive.
Hi Heather, have you tried sharing a cloud link, like OneDrive. This can be password protected and easy to set up. :-)

At 7.10 in the instructions on the line 19 the total value suddenly appears yet dosnt on my computer..

There is no "copy in headings" in a new blank workbook for excel. This is so frustrating.

You're formula is wrong ... the tax rates are not calculating properly. 10% of 41.89 is not 3.81.

hi kirstin. Not sure if you figured this out or not but the formula is not to calculate 10% of 41.89. It is calculating how much tax is added to the total amount. So without tax the total amount is 38.08 + 3.81 (tax)= 41.89, hope this makes sense
