I didn't know about the moose - perhaps the armies of Canada or Finland should have had moose cavalry? Joking aside, I understand that horses can be skittish, but I don't understand that the same animals that can be trained to charge into an armed mob with spears can't be trained not to be frightened of other domestic animals.... Even when they are part of the same army the effect applies! Maybe Greek horses would be scared of camels, but Arabian horses are also scared of camels? In the Damascus Souk I guess there would be schedules for camels and for horses, otherwise it must have been a chaos of rampaging horses... Thanks so much for your comment!
What do you think of this game in comparison?? I have never heard of or seen this played. I have played (in decades past) WRG, DBM, DBA and "Might of Arms". I have seen a few games of the Warhammer and Battlefront games and took a pass.
I don't know "Might of Arms" but thanks to your comment I just located the rules so I will read them to see how they are. At first glance, it seems more detailed and complex than ADLG, at least the results tables cover a very wide range.... I think ADLG can be found somewhere between WRG and DBA. It is not as simple or fast as DBA, but much faster and more resolute than WRG (and better written rules although they are still somewhat scattered) The modifier tables are complex to be able to cover all situations, but at the end of the day you don't need to apply more than one or two modifiers in each combat and they are usually the same. You roll a lot of dice, as with DBA and the commands point system is very similar. It is in a good balance point and a 120x80 board for 15 mm figures is enough. With half the number of figures used for WRG you have enough without losing the feeling of having a complete army... ADLG has been very successful for championships because of all this, .
Nice view of the game, as well as the narration and music. Thank you
Thank you very much for your feedback!

Glad to see this kind of gorgeous armies on a table, great looking game!😍😍👍👍
Thank you! Both armies have very special things, fun to paint and with many game possibilities
