I fly in November from Montreal to Paris, then from Paris to Cape Town. The video de-mystifies the whole process of transfer from one hall to another. I am still a bit nervous about arrival ( I assume we will need to negotiate security and Immigration, 'though we are just transiting CDG). But this video certainly helps reduce my habitual stressful anticipation 🙂
@@Heath10 There is no need to claim bags if both flights are on a single ticket. Alas, I don't remember whether we had to go through security. We certainly made our connecting flight without a problem.
Do you know if it is possible to transfer between halls without having to pass security on a transfer? I have 7 hours to kill in the airport as my flight has been delayed. It would be nice to see all of the halls. Thank you.
Is 30 minutes enough from one gate to another gate ? If flight arrive late and connecting flight with same airline do they wait for arrival passenger ?or if there is no enough time how they help ?
This video is high quality simply perfect thank you!!!!! I have to move from 2E to 2F for another flight but have to collect my baggage first
Thank you Man! have Taken this route before, needed to guide someone (first time traveller) it is a big help. Keep up the good work!

Did you end up having to claim bags/go through security upon arrival at CDG? Before continuing onto CPT

My arriving flight is terminal 2E and my connecting flight 2E do I still have to go through passport control?
I don’t think there is passport control, but you may have to go through security screening.

I’m not 100% sure, but I think you can go between 2E K, L and M without needing to pass through another security checkpoint.
@@mikelan6 Thank you
Sorry, did you try to transfer between halls without having to pass security ? I have the same problem so i want to know !
@@baoromy Hi. No you have to pass security.
@@Ididnothingwrong-dx5hn how long did it take you to get through security. To next gate?
Is 90 minutes enough for connecting time from 2E to 2F
Yes. Plenty of time.

Miami to Rome via CDG
@@mikelan6 Do you do passport control on the way to Terminal 2F?
Yes just before entering 2F.
Is terminal 2E gate K L M on same building or its all in different building and you can go by walk to one gate to other K L M or via train
They are three separate buildings connected by a free and frequent train

@@mikelan6 If my flight is from 2E hall M and I want to go to the lounge in terminal 2E hall K, do I need to pass security or any sort of control?
I don’t know. Sorry.
How long did it take to get through security?
Not very long. The hall was almost empty when I got there.
