    Hello friend! It sounds like the deepest Monolina you have available is F rather than D? Would be so helpful to know what octave the tonic/fundamental is. Please, tell 😊

      Hello! The deepest Monolina is in fact D. From highest to lowest they are: C (highest), A, G, F, D (lowest). Each instrument features a high and low of the tonic along with a 5th (that is between the high and low main note)

      @@feeltone another Q: can these be tuned to one whole tone lower or higher?

    • @WePlayWellTogether
      @WePlayWellTogether 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@claudiasunshinetristancho5595 Each of our monochords has strings that are made specifically by our String Maker, for that tuning to create the most brillance and depth of tone. While you can tune up or down a note the G tuned down to A will have strings that are a bit more loose and are also made from a different material and thickness so they will not sound like an A monolina that has strings made for A. If you go to high you are reaching a point where you can break the string.

    I like the third monolina she plays in the video. Is it an F which is what the label says or is it an A since you mention that you mix these up in the video?

    • @WePlayWellTogether
      @WePlayWellTogether 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      C (@) F (@) A (@) D (@) this is correct , the label in the video will say A when it is an F and F when it is an A. If you go to this website it has samples of the different monolina on video for each monolina so you can compare www.weplaywelltogether.com/blogs/news/how-to-chose-your-monolina-flavor-a-c-f-g-d

    The one which can stand vertically, which is 53'' x12'' x4'' - how heavy is it? I notice we can buy a case for it which is on wheels for easy transportation but I'm wondering how heavy the instrument is to life into the case. Also could wheels be attached to the actual instrument base without damaging the sound?

    • @WePlayWellTogether
      @WePlayWellTogether 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The instrument itself is not very heavy its 20Lbs= 9 kg , we would not recommend to connect wheels to the instrument. The legs are designed so you can losen the screw and than pivot the instrument into a horizontal position. If you would like to order a case for it , it will fit in any 88keyboard bag so you have a wide variety of choices from different manufactures and price ranges.

    It seems the video has the 'F' and 'A' reversed. The second is tuned to 'F' but it says 'A', the reverse for the third one.

    In your comments you say that you mixed up the A and F labelling. I'd like to order an A but now I'm not sure if you have already corrected this or not. Please let me know.

    Recieved today my Monolina D. Does anybody knows why it cames all tuned in C?

    • @ShamanMirror
      @ShamanMirror 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question. Did you get an answer? I'd like to know what the differences are besides different tuning, as the size seems the same. Are the string gauges different for the different tunings?

    • @KZAR75
      @KZAR75 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Shaman Mirror the sizes are the same. The diference is in the string gauge.

      The body of all the Monolina monochord is the same but we do have our strings made for us specifically to create different tones. The kind of string blanc or spon and the material of the string create the different notes and timbre. We have a string maker that works with us to create and built the perfect string for the most quality tonal experience and spent quite some time trying out what works best.

    • @feeltone
      @feeltone  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @pedro bras when we ship the monochord we pretune it but than losen the strings a tiny bit so they are more relaxed during transport. You will always have to tune the monochord when you receive it to the correct note. If you transport the instrument yourself and handle it yourself, you don't have to do it. As a precaution, we just do it for shipment with fedex when the instrument is packed in its shipping box and we don't know how the box is handled. But so far we never had any problems with shipping.
