Y'all act like you're boring and nobody cares what goes on behind the scenes, but thousands of people (and me) literally clicked on a video that says "There's No News."
Nah. This is by far my favorite trio. I started watching this channel years ago, far before Fandom and far before they changed direction, and I miss the old days sometimes. When these 3 come together it makes me so happy.
I would like days without news more often. these three dudes have such a great chemistry and are so interesting, even when just talking about if tacos have tomatoes.
We found the name of their podcast: "No News". The chemistry they have as, at a minimum, co-workers who don't explicitly hate each other and who all understand they're here to entertain, is charming.
After a long day at work, this literally made me laugh out loud on the way home. The improv is on point. The food review? GENIUS! Having a hard time believing it wasn't written. Please please do shows like this everyone once in a while!
Based on 21:18 either Dan as a TH-cam reviewer (or the 3 of them doing a Collider style show) but about restaurants is clearly the subject of your next 'knife infomercial' type project.
I think you guys can make a complete series of the weird characters reading audiobooks idea. Imagine: - The art of War read by Chewbacca - 50 shades of Grey read by jar jar binks - The fault in our stars read by Jules Winnfield - War & Peace read by Bill & Ted I think you guys can come up with an even weirder list.
This is the best episode you've ever done. I hope there's no news at least once a week if it means we get you guys just shooting the shit & being hilarious. 😂
On April 18th, 1930, the BBC's full news broadcast was "Good evening. Today is good Friday. There is no news", & then they played a piano concerto for the rest of the show
Yay masked singer. It needs to be a regular segment again with everyone watching it except one really confused guest. Like don't even tell them that it's gonna be discussed. I don't know if it is a compliment to your comedy or an insult to your reporting, but the random "We got nothing shows" are among my favorites.
Yes!!! And Dan needs a Picard/Star Trek segment. If they did a whole special for the finale of Game of Thrones they can easily do a finale for Picard or regular Masked Singer segment. Especially this season of Masked Singer! The judges have mostly been wrong for once!
I'm backing this suggestion from chat: "spikehikari Lol. Fun watch. Suggestion: Maybe next time cover foreign movies or movie markets, if you have a news free day."
Great episode!! I always enjoy the show, but I don't normally laugh out loud this often. :D The Angry Restaurant Critic TH-cam rants were fabulous. "The future is quinoa!" :D Thanks, guys!
I've had a really really long week and I've got to tell you that just watching you guys talk, even with no big news stories, has definitely made my day
Hey #ScreenJunkies, Im honored to help out today & to be thanked for it. Btw some of the best non Marvel post credit scenes are Kick Ass 2, Dumb & Dumber To, Game Night, Monster's Inc, The Master of Disguise, & The Simpsons Movie!
I think the Taco is Bob Saget. Video tapes = funniest home videos. The trolley = San Francisco for Full House. Height is the only question but it depends on where his head actually is.
Honestly, the best episodes of SJU by far are these three dudes just sitting around and joking. I like Ed and Roxy and Danielle and the others as well, but no group has the same chemistry and energy as these three. Please have SJU be this trio once a week.
Baby Vader! Or Baby Thanos...pretty much any Villian as a baby...Baby Phoenix Joker wud be the greatest, the baby doin the mirror dance wud be hilarious!
Also, what actor would you like to see get into politics? President Nicholas Cage sounds pretty good to me, plus he would have full access to the Declaration of Independence and other historical documents he would no longer have to steal 😆
To the best of my recollection, the first film I ever saw with a post credit scene was Young Sherlock Holmes (1985) written by Chris Columbus and directed by Barry Levinson. In the film, Holmes and Watson are students and Holmes investigates something and uncovers the villain. That villain escapes, but after the credits you see a carriage pull up to an inn. Or at least that is my recollection 35 years after seeing the film. The villain signs in at the inn, but uses a different name than he had been using throughout the movie. That name is, well spoiler warning, but it should be obvious, Moriarty. I remember 17-year-old me thinking at the time, wow that was cool.
Ill not watch 40min of no news but i applaud you for doing this. You keep to your contract and did a video, ill like it so to be engaged and comment but ill not waste time thou, and that was your point all along. Thanks for all the hard work.
Hahahaha!! Honestly, it's you guys telling the news that makes us stay, even if the news is which food can or cannot be found in LA. This was amazing, and totally what we 'think' happens in the Honest Trailers writing room.
Read the title and got super excited. At one point there was a debate on whether Wallace Shawn or Paul Giamatti would be a better romantic match. This episode did not disappoint!
I love hearing Dan talk about The Masked Singer. I share his enthusiasm of the show, even as a Brit who doesn't always recognise the celebs when they are revealed. The show is just fab and our UK version has just ended, so it's cool to still have the US MS to get my fix. 😎
Dan, I love the Thrawn trilogy audiobooks! Follow them up with the Kevin J Anderson Champions of the Force trilogy and Darksaber. Also, my favorite Star Trek audio book of all time is Crossover narrated by Johnathan Frakes who does a shockingly good Picard impression and a serviceable Scotty.
Gosh, I love no news days. This was so much fun! The restaurant reviewer bit had me in stitches, as did Spenny calling Joe and Dan gringos. Also, I agree about Wallace Shawn. :)
For me the first season was the best since I had never seen it or knew what the show really was - so I got to watch the discussions imagining that there really were various creatures in a singing competition.
This is just proof that we come for the news but stay for the personalities on the show.
i wanna like this, but i also dont want to ruin the 69 lol
Y'all act like you're boring and nobody cares what goes on behind the scenes, but thousands of people (and me) literally clicked on a video that says "There's No News."
Plus we got, apparently, proof that Ryan made it out of his crying corner to face another day.
Hey Ryan!
I wish more news outlets had the courage to say "Theres no..... look guys there's nothing worth talking about today." Haha! You guys are heroes.
Heath Hill Dan talks. The other two just make noise. I really don’t understand why half of these people are on this channel.
@@vercoda9997 they're writers not entertainers/hosts so🤷🏽♂️
Ver Coda they’re on because we love them
I thought they are all very well rounded hosts. I’d love to hear your thoughts on why you think otherwise.
@@vercoda9997 you just make noise with your filthy rhinoceros pizzle.
Even without any breaking movie or streaming war news, watching and listening to Joe, Dan and Spencer is a fun way to spend 38 minutes 57 seconds.
Listening to joe dan and spencer talk is pretty much the best thing on TH-cam anyway
Tank Gunner no offense but from what I've seen of SJU videos, everybody's great no matter what the combination.
Nah. This is by far my favorite trio. I started watching this channel years ago, far before Fandom and far before they changed direction, and I miss the old days sometimes. When these 3 come together it makes me so happy.
@@JenS-mz3dq Still missing Roth!
Quazire Jones they all are
I just think the OG crew has a specific vibe
I worked in a newsroom for 4 years. Trust me, there were days where there was no news. That’s when the puppy stories get run.
29:40 “a couple of gringos over here.” spencer kills me 😂
“As part of a pico de gallo perhaps”
"Ooh... The Caucacity of it all" 😂😂
Sliced tomatoes in a taco? Dios mio. 🤦♂️
“KATHLEEN KENNEDY CLOSED THE OLIVE GARDEN?!” You guys had me screaming during the restaurant bit, that was so good. 😂
spontaneous restaurant review throwdown is where this week peaks for me
After a long day at work, this literally made me laugh out loud on the way home. The improv is on point. The food review? GENIUS! Having a hard time believing it wasn't written.
Please please do shows like this everyone once in a while!
This episode was delightful! The "there is no news" and the just "Thursday" title of the video are hilariously honest😆
Finally No News.... I have been waiting for this day for a millennium
I actually think this is the best kind of SJU episode. It feels very genuine. And it’s hilarious! 😂
Based on 21:18 either Dan as a TH-cam reviewer (or the 3 of them doing a Collider style show) but about restaurants is clearly the subject of your next 'knife infomercial' type project.

“The caucasity of it all!” Damn right, Spencer. Representing born and raised in SoCal!
As a latin american, hearing Spencer pronouncing "pico de gallo" grants it a like.
I burst out laughing loud in the Bus and the lady in front of me clearly thought I was insane! Great time with you guys! More of these please!
31:51 That banner pop-up is one of the Top 10 greatest moments in SJU history. Absolutely perfect.
This is the best episode you've ever done. I hope there's no news at least once a week if it means we get you guys just shooting the shit & being hilarious. 😂
They should make "Charting with Baby Dan."
Thus should be a weekly thing
On April 18th, 1930, the BBC's full news broadcast was "Good evening. Today is good Friday. There is no news", & then they played a piano concerto for the rest of the show
Very cool and interesting tidbit of information. Thanks for sharing!!
I have never seen an episode of the masked singer, but this is always my favorite part of SJU!
The SJU food conversation is soooooo up my alley. I'd love to hear good food spots in LA as a moment maybe once a month or so.
What a beautiful train wreck of an episode
Yay masked singer. It needs to be a regular segment again with everyone watching it except one really confused guest. Like don't even tell them that it's gonna be discussed. Lol. Fun watch. Suggestion: Maybe next time cover foreign movies or movie markets, if you have a news free day."
You guys should make Dan review Sonic as Detective Benoit Blanc
Their Lucifer review in the middle of the Knives out honest trailer commentary as Benoit Blanc was amazing. Check it out if you didn't already.
Best 38 minutes of my day. Thanks, guys. Sometimes off the cuff is gold.
"Giamatti is gonna hit it and quit it"
Hey I work at Ford and I am proud of Ford F150 being mentioned.
Probably one of my favorite episodes because it features these three being ridiculous! Love no news day!!!
Joe, you were really close to my neck-of-the-woods.
Pensacola, FL, stand up!
How’re they all so attractive
The Cheerleader effect, maybe?
same question haha
It's LA bayyybeeeee
Joe's hair is everything.
I knew a Rusty Shackleford in high school.
He was a sweetheart!😍
Loved the vibe of this show.
Baby Thanos in a Cosmic Ghost Rider movie
Yes, and still voiced by Josh Brolin
Bob Saget is the Taco. VHS tapes and a cable car. Full House. Set in San Francisco.
Dionne Warwick is the Mouse.
Another question: What tv series would you like to see get a feature film? I’d like to see Psych, The Office, and Parks and Rec
Psych is AWESOME. So underrated!
The Flick Chick yep!
Omg someone who mentions psych!!such an awesome and underrated show indeed!!
I’ve heard it both ways.
Psych already has a feature length film with a sequel coming out this year. Or did you mean theatrical film?
9:59 = Collider's Gone lol
Great episode!! I always enjoy the show, but I don't normally laugh out loud this often. :D The Angry Restaurant Critic TH-cam rants were fabulous. "The future is quinoa!" :D Thanks, guys!
The food critic bit had me rolling :D
Couple of gringos over here 😂😂😂
These guys need to do a podcast. Even if it's just more of this I'd listen to it.
I don't know why you guys are self deprecating today's show. Loved it!
Baby chewbacca
I've had a really really long week and I've got to tell you that just watching you guys talk, even with no big news stories, has definitely made my day

Brilliant 40 minutes. Thanks everybody!
This was one of my favorite episodes of SJU lol
"Giamatti is gonna hit it and quit it"
It was at that moment I hit subscribe!
I'm surprised a trekkie like Dan didn't bring up Wallace Shawn's performance on DS9 as Grand Nagus Zek.
I think the Taco is Bob Saget. Video tapes = funniest home videos. The trolley = San Francisco for Full House. Height is the only question but it depends on where his head actually is.
That's a great pick, the clues make sense.
Something about the title of this video+the thumbnail just made me laugh
After Dan completes his improv rant about plant-based resturants
Dan: Yeah, I'd watch that
Me: I sense a sequel to the Knife Infomercial coming
Honestly, the best episodes of SJU by far are these three dudes just sitting around and joking. I like Ed and Roxy and Danielle and the others as well, but no group has the same chemistry and energy as these three. Please have SJU be this trio once a week.
Baby Vader! Or Baby Thanos...pretty much any Villian as a baby...Baby Phoenix Joker wud be the greatest, the baby doin the mirror dance wud be hilarious!
Started right off the bat laughing my ass off. These 3 guys are hilarious together!!
Spencer knows his tacos
I love this more than the news 😂
How has Spencer never heard of tomato in a taco? It's in every picture of a taco ever taken... Even the emoji 🌮
Also, what actor would you like to see get into politics? President Nicholas Cage sounds pretty good to me, plus he would have full access to the Declaration of Independence and other historical documents he would no longer have to steal 😆

"What's Campea doing?" HAHHAA. More like those episodes, please.
I was introduced to Alec Baldwin through his narration/voiceover work on Thomas the Tank Engine.
Ill not watch 40min of no news but i applaud you for doing this. You keep to your contract and did a video, ill like it so to be engaged and comment but ill not waste time thou, and that was your point all along. Thanks for all the hard work.
“Get gone, baby peanut” 😆🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hahahaha!! Honestly, it's you guys telling the news that makes us stay, even if the news is which food can or cannot be found in LA. This was amazing, and totally what we 'think' happens in the Honest Trailers writing room.
If only Roth was there then pure OG dumpster fire.
Read the title and got super excited. At one point there was a debate on whether Wallace Shawn or Paul Giamatti would be a better romantic match. This episode did not disappoint!
Honestly, this was one of my fav episodes... love the banter, this is why I watch SJU vs. other comparable shows, well done guys!
This arguably the best video you've done.
I love "No Newsdays". There should be at least one of these a week~
Makes so happy to see these 3 guys, resin I started watching thi channel, and we had Roth yesterday
32:30 Are you telling me there isn’t a PF Chang’s anywhere in the greater Los Angeles area?
I love hearing Dan talk about The Masked Singer. I share his enthusiasm of the show, even as a Brit who doesn't always recognise the celebs when they are revealed. The show is just fab and our UK version has just ended, so it's cool to still have the US MS to get my fix. 😎
Here’s a fan question or 3: What is your name? What is your quest? What is your favorite color?
OMG, this was the best show ever! Loved listening to the guys talk about random stuff.

Also, I agree about Wallace Shawn. :)
This was so fun. You guys have great chemistry and now I wish there are more no news days.
"whats campea doing??" lmao lost my shit
Here for Masked Singer talk 🙌🏽
Haven’t watched SJU in a little bit but this title reeled me right back in
The restaurant bit was HILARIOUS
Actor who I learned from his voice: Christopher Lee, Last Unicorn.
“Play School, and Play School Accessories”
😂 amazing
These are my favorite kind of episodes!
Thrawn trilogy is one of my fav star war books!
War Eagle, Joe - fan from Alabama
Super entertaining show, here’s to more No News Days
Reminds me of the (likely apocryphal) story of what King George III wrote in his diary: “Nothing important happened today.” The day? July 4, 1776.
I think "no news" days are my new favorite video type.
I thought the masked singer would just be singers wearing masks but they’re in full on furry suits!
For me the first season was the best since I had never seen it or knew what the show really was - so I got to watch the discussions imagining that there really were various creatures in a singing competition.
The guy sitting in the cab in Airplane! was Howard Jarvis, author of CA's Prop. 13 - I DON'T KNOW WHY
That's GRAND ADMIRAL Thrawn btw Dan. Tsk tsk
How's Tippy Toe?
"50 yr old with a diaper fetish" LoL, allow me to be your 700th like. :)
