I don't know if it's just me, but whenever I try to slide into cover I end up rolling. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?

i had that problem too. you have to get closer to the wall and actually tilt your left stick directly at it. if youre too far you will roll. from time to time it still happens. if anything turn your camera more toward the wall and you should slide more often.
