I’m reading this right now. Once I broke the spine in a bit it is fine for me. Nothing compares to the Posehn Deadpool omni and it’s binding. Or Miles Morales
I think the binding on the Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man omnibus is the WORST! The pages are just hanging on at a point with the rest pulled away from the sewing & glue. It’s awful! At least the Batman pages are glued/sewn to the binding.
Got mine recently, fifth printing, printed back in May. I was still not too impressed with the binding. Had a loud pop on the binding/paper under the ribbon during some stretches. Seems to be ok, dunno if that's common. And I didn't realize, but by the end of the stretch, my hands faded black splotches from the dark ink. Not sure for any cause for concern or not as well.
Death of the Family and Year Zero are pretty darn good, but if you read Court of Owls and weren't overly impressed.. it's hard to say if you would like the rest of the two other story arcs. I personally enjoyed them a lot, but I loved the Court of Owls.
@@silverkyle no, I shop at instocktrades or CGN. Not a fan of getting damaged books. Lol Hopefully IST has it during their black friday sale. They had a restock a while back.
I stretched mine, shelfed it. I recently started reading it & for some reason, my ribbon and eye shifted more to the right & now the book doesn't sit well. Do you know why books do this?

Haha yeah those sound like a nightmare. I'm glad they made a reprint of Miles Morales.
I love this omnibus so much. This book was like a Snyder and Capullo jam session.
Yeah it's just the 1st printing that has bad binding. My copy is the 3rd printing and it has a much better binding.
Glad to hear it! I was wondering how the other printings held up.
How can one tell what printing they have? By the isbn ? Thanks in advance
@@forsakenV12 I’d like to find that out myself. Most EBay sellers have no clue.

Yeah I've only seen videos and pictures but that one seems like a trainwreck. This one at least stands a chance if you stretch it out.

The bindings on my The Grinch for Dreamcast strategy guide are much worse than this.
That Grinch for Dreamcast strategy guide had the worst binding of all..
My is fourth printing.binding is superb.
Hi, I have the Court of Owls absolute edition, are the other two stories in this book worth the purchase ?
I just finished this omni and the other two stories are absolutely great!!
Hi, how exactly did you stretch it out to get that better lift and eye on the spine? Planning to get this one on IST or Amazon. Thanks!
Late here lol but there's a link in this videos description, it really helped me!
Is the story any good compared to the Batman and Robin omnibus? I've read the Court of Owls and it was ok. Was wondering which omnibus to get

@@silverkyle thanks. I'll probably eventually get it. Seems to be coming back into stock a lot.
@@joey5821 Are you from Canada by chance? Amazon.ca currently has it for $87

I haven't had this happen to me yet, was the book kind of shelved on an angle perhaps?
@@silverkyle my book shelf is abit unleveled. But the books are upright other then the small slant
@@silverkyle do u have messenger, so i can show u some pics & speak more in depth on this for advice?
@@FBean11 I don't think a small slant would do that much to it... how was it when you first opened it up again to read it?
@@FBean11 Yup. Here's my Facebook page:

I dion't know why they just don;t do sewn binding on books so expensive so you don't have all the binding problems
I'm having same issue with my Arkham omni :(
You could try this... it MIGHT help.

I don't buy omnibuses cause they are too expensive
Would you recommend this?
