@@lisaturtle1106 the Ermine didn't work out for me. I have a feeling I did something wrong, but I'm not sure. I went with the American Dreamy, but we didn't really like it, so back to my normal frosting for now.

I tried the Dreamy American buttercream and mine came out delicious but it was too yellow. I added a small amount of purple food coloring to offset the yellow tones and that helped but it was still an off white color. I’ll try it again with a different type of butter. Other than that it is truly delicious. Not too sweet, not too salty, it’s perfect. Now I’m going to try the Swiss meringue buttercream
Hey, I was wondering if you can do a video on buttercreams like Swiss Meringue to be less rich and buttery. The standard recipes is just too rich for our taste. We're already used to plain Italian meringue frostings (not buttercream, no added butter) because it is not that rich and not too sweet, but I find this type of frosting too hard to frost smoothly. I can use different frostings that meet the criteria but it will involve more steps and ingredients to make those.

Ermine is least sweet and ppl either love it or hate it. First time I had it, pure love for me 💕
For decorating though some ppl don't like it, so next step up would be Swiss meringue or buttercream cheese.
Least sweet of all is whipped creams but I feel like you have to have at least 3 graduate degrees and a Nobel peace prize to decorate with it well

Hi, I was wondering if there is a frosting that wouldn’t need to sit out to soften up a bit. Perhaps I didnt make it right but many different buttercream recipes that I’ve made come out hard almost like pure butter when straight out of the fridge. I heard that thats normal to get hard but its not suppose to be like butter. I dont know since I’ve always been a whipping cream person. Piping the buttercream looks great but my family prefers eating cake straight out of the fridge😅 Is there a frosting that would be slightly soft when cold or are most buttercream just has to sit out a little bit before eating?
Could you use simple syrup instead of corn syrup for the American buttercream? Using a 2:1 sugar/water mix instead of 1:1 to get the consistency right?

I made your American butter cream for my besties gender reveal cupcakes and they were a hit with everyone. I will not be using liquid or gel food colouring again though the moisture content got kinda off but the flavor was phenomenal
but do they melt in hot weather or temp? How will you stabilize each one?

Im trying to find whipped frosting. Why is it hard to find? Its like a cool whip texture. A grocery store in my area is one of the best. Its called better creme (not butter) or best creme. Cant find a single video that looks similar lol. Sams club also meakes the best whipped frosting. It just sucks i cant find a recipe to make at home. Lol

I feel you on the corn syrup, but corn syrup has a distinct inferior taste to regular sugar.
I have not noticed any of the inferior flavors using glucose syrup fwiw
which one tastes the closest to Publix buttercream frosting not the cream cheese version.
