- In today's video, we take a look around a little Combo van that I bought at BCA Blackbushe recently. It was graded as 5, as bad as it gets before they decide they won't grade it at all! Surely it can't be that bad?!

I love driving vans like this, something about the freedom on running about picking stuff up not having to worry about devaluing it etc. Great buy. Loving the plans, he'll of a leg up you are giving these guys and this is what gives you a long term loyal team. I'll start checking you for transport quotes on upcountry stuff

Hi Joe, this video just popped up randomly. Enjoyed it. I can remember also watching a later video where you were considering getting shot of the van as it hadn't really worked out for Jordan. Shame, you were so obviously keen for the lads to make a go of it with your considerable help. Josh seems to be doing well. Chirpy, intelligent, hard working young lad. Wish him the best.

Lee keep the van for your wife for the farm it would be very useful to put some piles of straw or hay or some tools for the farm staff

Hi Joe,what a great idea to turn it into a valeting van, everyone wants a clean car and will be good for the business.
Originally, the feed to the radio was either permanent (you could listen without needing the key) or switched through the ign.
These days, IMO, it works both ways, with or without the key. If you switch on the radio with they key out of the ign, you need to turn it off again. But if you turn the radio on with the ign on, it should go off when the key is removed. Not heard of that issue before.

I have the same van with a 1.6 diesel engine with the same radio that stops on after key turned off and it stays on until you press the button but will turn it self off after a few minutes 👍

love these combo vans,hired one once and it went like a rocket! think can get a 1.7 version but the fiat 1.3 is more common!
That’s a smart van and really not a big one to sort! Parrots are awful - I had one in my V50 and hated it, swap for a simple aftermarket Sony with Bluetooth and ditch it. Great video fella
2 cars at once is great but make sure he knows the weight as the dvsa are hot on that with car transport
She’s a little score man. I had a red ex post van corsa combo. Had the Isuzu engine in it. Went and went and kept on going until I bounced it fully loaded off a speed bump. Yeah she was done. It’s a perfect van for a valeter that one mate
I recommend you look out for a Transit Courier. Fantastic to drive for a van. I have use of a 67 plate Sport.

our company had lots of these . timing chain snapping and killing engine around 100k is a real thing . check for rattles from cold . i was driving down m5 at 70 when mine went . i swapped out the radio as it was crap

The 1.3 is an awful engine. They did them in a 1.7 which was the go to engine. But your idea is very enterprising & I wish there were more business owners like you
