    I have secondary progressive MS, diagnosed in 96, not walking, wheelchair bound since 2013, I have read whals protocol, I am here alone on my own, and I find it physically and financially unmanageable, getting my hands on the food including organ meat alone is incredibly difficult for me. I would love to get in one of these test groups, it's just all so overwhelming.

    What an emotional interview, brought tears to my eyes several times. As someone with type 1 and hashimotos I am inspired by Dr Whals. Thank God for you and Dr Perlmuttrr for highlighting her massage so beautifully.

    Dr. P you have a real knack for putting people at ease! Dr. Wahls went into all kinds of details that I have never heard before. Keep up the great work both of you!

    Great story. This story mentions avoiding stress as stress is the main reason for desease. However this story is not addressing how to fight stress. How can yoga, walking in nature or any other mindfullness session take away stress when you are not able to pay the bills (of a yoga course) no matter how hard you try to pay your bills. Stress is created by Greed. Stress is caused by the ones in power, making sure they stay in power, keep getting richer by taking advantage at the cost of others. The first sollution for a healthy society is banning greed. No person in this world needs a income of more than 200.000 USD a year in order to experience a life without stress. People earning more than this sort of figures should give back to society what they took.

      we all have too many bills..........;here is what I did a year and a half ago.......sold my 2000sft house, now renting A ROOM in someone's house. all utilities + even internet included. In additon, these covid years crystallized who the toxic people in my life were. became super easy to avoid them. will not allow them back into my life as before. I seriously have no more stress and found so much time doing things I really enjoy and focusing time on people who add joy to my life. SIMPLIFY, unfortunately our society is not used or mostly willing to to that. It was not difficult, and yes, people make remarks, but I don't care, because they do not pay my bills. hope that helps. Good luck

    I was diagnosed aged 23. Followed the Swank Diet for decades. Symptoms came and went and some stayed and are still with me. Additionally, like most people with auto-immune disease I gathered other a-i-diseases along the way. For me, I found I actually benefit from some bread - BUT - it is organic. I wonder whether any double blind trials have been done on pesticide laden wheat and organic? Although I don't follow the Wahls methodology exactly, there is no doubt she is an inspirational force of a woman - a pioneer.

      No,not for variety. Eliminating nightshades first 2 weeks is to test your tolerance of them,to see if you get worse after reintroducing them.

    Is carnivore bad???

    • @prevengeix8551
      @prevengeix8551 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends who you eat. We are omnivores. In the short term no diet is bad if you don't go to extreme for to long. If you have a specific issue such as MS, what do you have to lose by trying something different.
