@@Kaush It was a year ago in December 2023. No threshers for us... So far we have seen them only in Malapascua Philippines. In Farikede we saw a single hammer far away for a few seconds. Hoping to see more in The Galapagos next month. Keep up with the great videos! Hope you make it to Greece some day. :D 🤟
Ah wow we were there at the same time! Fingers crossed for you in Galapagos 🤞🏾 I will be there also in January! Hope to be back in Greece again some day for sure 🙌🏾
@@Kaush Haha! Same time in Fuvahmulah last year and same time in Galapagos this year! What are the odds... We are traveling January 17th. Staying 10 days in the islands and then 3-4 days around Quito for waterfalls and hiking. Drop us a line when you are there! :)
Haha such a small world! Ah I think maybe we will just miss each other in Galapagos! I will be there from the 1st till the 14th I think but will let you know if I end up staying longer!
@@Kaush yes, definitely. I heard about it and I am actually equally on this as tigers. I definitely want to go there. Going with xtremedive guys, friends recommendation, so far everything is good.
@@laincribb7575 If you can, consider splitting time between the second-most southern island, Fuvahmulah, and the southernmost island, Gan/Addu. Both islands have airports, land on one island, ferry to the other island, and fly back to Male when the trip is over
They don't really have reef mantas in Fuvahmulah but I'd say you have a decent chance of seeing Oceanic (giant) Mantas in March. There is a chance of seeing whale sharks but can't be guaranteed of course. Have fun!
Incredible video! Glad you saw all those fish! We were not lucky last year. Apart from the tiger dives, saw nothing in Thoondu and Farikede...
Thank you! The mola mola was super lucky and very very rare. Surprised you didn't see thresher sharks. What time of year did you go?

Got so lucky with the visibility and the encounters! Such an amazing few days 💙
@@Kaush really beautiful, keep up with your amazing videos thank you ❤️
Thank you so much for all of your support 💙
Can confirm about Mola Mola, I saw one near Maafushi, where my guide said he never saw one.
Damn near Maafushi is crazy! That's some great luck!
@@Kaushgoing Fuvahmulah this weekend man. Send some tips please 😂😜😜

@@tomkordys yeah definitely head out there and see if you can find any threshers as well! Much more on that island than just the tigers 🦈
Cool video bro 🤙🏼 Like it
Thanks a lot man!
Sightings when you're not expecting them are just the best! What month was this visit?
They really are! 🙌🏾 This was in December
@@KaushCool thanks!
Do you have any recommendations of where I can book dive and stay packages?
Check out Ocean Nomadic Divers or Shark Island Dive, and Ataraxis Hotel!
Hey I'm visiting im March end of, what's the chances of seeing mantas and whalesharks in your opinion on a 8 day diving holiday from London
