Dare i felt a lil conscious about the fact of mentioning something like this for it stands out to be silly to the idea being strictly explained but i laughted the hecks out on this tooooo 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you so much on helping me understand this, my teacher talks way to fast for me to keep up and understand at the same time, you explain it more detail and I thank you for that.
Omg this was great. The fact that you use so many example and repeat them makes me understand so much better! My school maths teacher is like a 2 compared to you lol. Thanks!
Hahaha I can't read titles. I watched about three minutes of this thinking it was about muscial intervals before going 'wait-'. Ah well, learned something new.
Is [4,4] and interval? My basic understanding of an interval is that it's just stuff between two points or values. So I don't get how something like [1,2]intersection[2,3] is an interval? Isn't that just the set {2}?
After this video ended, I just shouted "Thank you so much". But sad, you aren’t going to hear this. I'm from Bangladesh.. So I was doing my homework.. My teacher finished this chapter year ago.. But I haven’t. Now I don’t want to knock for him for this petty question (not petty for me, definitely not). THANK YOU SO MUCHHHH.
What do you do when you have a number that is the same as the end point for your interval? like, 40 - 50 but there is a 50, and your next interval is 50 - 60? Do you include them both? or just the one on the left or right?

No. Cartesian coordinates are represented by (x, y) Plot them on graph and they're obviously different. -3 comes first on the no. line before 2 so the correct way of writing is [-3,2]. Use the number line to understand.
you don't know what is the number but when it is determined like x less than or equal 2 so 2 needs bracket then it is going to be paranthesis negative infinity ;2 bracket
it is 10:40 pm at night and im still working on homework, i havent even gotten to do any of my missing assignments and all of them are do tomorow. Guess whos defininetly getting kicked out of honors for the big fat D im getting in my Algebra class!!!!
This guy has saved me SO MANY TIMES for 5 years now, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! (Best math videos EVER!!)
This math video is great. Everything is well described and repeated and I like that. Thanks!
oh my gosh can you please replace my Algebra 2 teacher lol?
Fr
"NINENINENINENINENINENINE" I burst out laughing when he said that
Dare NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN
Dare i felt a lil conscious about the fact of mentioning something like this for it stands out to be silly to the idea being strictly explained but i laughted the hecks out on this tooooo 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Where is that?
Don't lie for likes
Studies s no for real kid where is it?
Can you replace my Pre-Calc teacher?
facts
yes please
I second this!
Actually for me, i think you understand this easily because it's now familiar to you when ur teacher taught you...
bruh
Thank you so much on helping me understand this, my teacher talks way to fast for me to keep up and understand at the same time, you explain it more detail and I thank you for that.

Me too 😭😭
Yo, legit this guy can teach better than any other teacher. And I am literally talking about k-12, continuing to university.
thank you so much I didn't understand my teacher when he explained it
me teacher didnt even explain it to the class
THANK YOU!! Clear and easy to follow. Thank you for also showing the multiple ways to express the intervals.
most straightforward and specific explanation on intervals, thanks!
Thank you so much. You don't know how much this helps us students. God bless you so much!
and this is why i LOVE khan academy
Best video I have found for this. Finally clicked, thank you XD I need all the special help lmao.
Excellent and easy to understand - as always...thank you Khan Academy!!!!!!
The concept was explained in the best way possible.
Loved it and thank you.
MOST HELPFUL THING GOD MADE ON EARTH
Thanks for the help, my teacher never taught us this but it was on the review.
ive never related so much
Utter incompetence
Sal, my lord and saviour, I now understand
I still don't i don't even know anything we done in class this whole month im doomed
Oh you are my lifesaver when it comes to maths🙏
I like this video. Had a hard time understanding this but now its clear. Hopefully I pass my test now.
God bless you man you are my saviour

My university lecturer spent an hour explaining intervals and you explained it in 10 minutes
Thank you!
Thank you so much! I was so confused before
After this video ended, I just shouted "Thank you so much".

THANK YOU SO MUCHHHH.
If you change the speed to 0.5 from 4:14 - 4:23, you will notice that Sal drank one too many before the making of this video
Lmao 😂 underrated
0.25 is even better
Excellent and distinct explanation and repeated. I really appreciate this effort...thank you!🎉🎉😊
What is the software you use for this videos? Thanks!
This is clearer than what my 10th grade math teacher taught us.
Helped clarified ALL of my problems that I had!
Excellent explanation... set notion math is literally like doing computer programming on paper for humans to compute.
this helped me so much! God bless your soul!
thanks alot sir awesome video
all doubt cleared
That's some beautiful stuff.
Your the only way I'm getting through IB math :3
thank you so much!
awesome this helped me so much!!!!!!
2:16 Congratulations Khan, you created a new word "mathy"
Quarantine got me a better teacher
Good explainantion
Thank you 💜🎂
God bless you and you have a good day 💕
Thanks Sal. You saved me.

If 50 is included then you include them both 40-60
Wish I had profs like this!
Perfectly clear. Thank you!
ur the best!!!!!!
You are a legendary teacher
Perfect explain,Thanks
Thank youuuu♥️♥️♥️♥️
Helped a lot thank you
Sal used some set theory notation, nice!

aw, thanks so much! may i just ask what program are you using?
Gabriel Fabián I honestly think he's using ms paint, I might be wrong
He uses bamboo brush and pen.
Is [-3, 2] equal to [2, -3]? Are they mathematically similar in properties of Cartesian coordinates?
I am a math noob and would love some help.
definitely not they are not the same.
@@sagar-uj1nb Why? These are not coordinates. But show the scale between the 2 numbers.
No.
Cartesian coordinates are represented by (x, y)
Plot them on graph and they're obviously different.
-3 comes first on the no. line before 2 so the correct way of writing is [-3,2].
Use the number line to understand.
nice video , it's help alot
thank you soooo much khan academy this helped me soooooo much
thank you khan acedmy
Why do we use closed bracket at infinity??
you don't know what is the number but when it is determined like x less than or equal 2 so 2 needs bracket then it is going to be paranthesis negative infinity ;2 bracket
You are my best and now online teacher I want to look up if I'm up to learn something or get motivated by the hashtag #youcanlearnanythings
Thanks dude
Thank you 💕🙏😌🙏💗
Thankss !!
Great video, thanks
thank you sssooo much
Thanks man!
Woah is it only me or did his voice change??
Kind of sounds like Jeff Bridges, but less country boy in his voice.
Buttered pAWPcorn So an Indian Jeff Bridges eh
@Charlie Robertson *Bangladeshi American
I love you teacher
I am exactly the 4000 like!!!
tysm
Thanks It helped alot for me to do myy h/w
how will I write the interval notation of a number line with no graph at all?
With a pen
So my teacher took 2 hours to explain this from which I didn't understand half of it and this guy explained it in 9 minutes??
Excellent tutorial...thanks!
We can lose the 'x is a member of all real numbers' and just have -4
Thank u sir
thank you
listen on 2X at 4:08
So in this kind of problems, we can only express interval notations??
Does this apply the same way to parabolas?
I was looking for music theory😂
Thanks
it is 10:40 pm at night and im still working on homework, i havent even gotten to do any of my missing assignments and all of them are do tomorow. Guess whos defininetly getting kicked out of honors for the big fat D im getting in my Algebra class!!!!
kindly specify the notation for half closed and half open interval in this video.
Wow this is so clear i was watching another video abt algebra and them be like now we apply - infinity and infinity me👀😳🤔🤔😕😔
What is your writing software?
what about set notation can u make a video about that?
what’s the name of orange and green interval please ? great video
does the Greek E represent belongs to? that is what i learned
This helped me so much. Thanks so much!
what if there's more than one digit that is excluded from the interval?
Nice!!!!!!!
Waaw 🥰🥰
so what will i use if a solution set is 0
2:41 sir u said that sign is not epsilon in your previous video. And now you are saying it is.
he has an optical mouse
explained more in nine minutes than my college professor did
Wait what does the E stand for?
