Wow, the Cathedral was absolutely massive! I'm sure Sherpy walked the City Wall with you in spirit, and I can imagine his mighty AWOOO! amongst the people on the street, and in the Cathedral. Looking forward to the video tomorrow on Halloween! Bless you Jamie, RIP Sherpa.
A place full of history and character. Wonderful. Impressive cathedral. Stained glass windows are massive. Thank for the tour, Jamie. I'm hoping you were spooked out that night. We'll soon find out😂😂sending good wishes and hugs to Jamie and a whisper of a kiss to Sherpa 🥰❤❤🥰🐾🐾🐾🐕
I love going on these trips with you. Beautiful places I will never see. The York Minster was gorgeous and huge! Can’t wait to see the next video. I miss seeing Sherpa with you, but he’s with you in spirit all the time. Be safe. Hugs and ❤.
Jamie, is it strange to wander around without anyone stopping to say hello to Sherpa? I’m so glad you are getting out & having new adventures on your own. It’s great for the healing process. Thanks for sharing your trip to York! 🫶
Jamie, thank you so much for taking me along on this journey. The cathedral is absolutely breathtaking. I have to admit I’m a bit jealous that everyone in England is wearing a coat and I’m sitting on my porch in a T-shirt and shorts. 😊 Looking forward to Part 2. I’m sure Sherpa will protect you from any ghosts. Hugs from Tennessee USA. 💕🐾
@ It’s about 15 degrees above normal for this time of year. Even the birds and insects are confused. I love winter, but we rarely see much of it anymore. We did get a deep snow last year and I loved it. We desperately need rain. It hasn’t rained here since the hurricane hit last month.
What an amazing cathedral. Absolutely stunning and so enormous. The workmanship in these historic buildings boggles the mind. When you have to remind yourself that it was all hand done. 🤯Thank you Jamie for these tours. Places I will never be able to visit but thanks to you, I can tag along. ❤I know Sherpa is finally having a visit with you too. Looking forward to the next episode!!👻
I got vertigo walking those York city walls when I was in Britain 5 years ago! Beautiful city. I loved my visit to York and environs. I wish I could go back but I doubt I ever will. Your video today was a lovely reminder of an amazing trip.
I haven't been to York since i was at school, over 40 years ago, i forgot how beautiful it is especially the cathedral. Excitedly waiting for the next installment!! 👻
I just love when you go places that suspend time and space. It is like going through the wardrobe into Narnia or arriving in Middle Earth! I could swear every here and again I catch the last whisp of the edges of a huskamute tail as it disappears around a corner in a game of hide and seek. I keep smiling and swear I hear a distant howl as Jamie catches up.
Hey Jamie! Thank you for taking us "on Tour " with you!❤I see Sherpa is on your side, always!😮😊 He never leaves you! For us Sherpa is always one your side! Nice trip Jamie! Thank you for sharing! Hugs 🤗..Francisca..Germany!
So gorgeous! As a huge fan of gothic architecture, I absolutely love this! In fact - the first time I was in London, and saw the Houses of Parliament up close, I cried! So much beauty in all these little details and then to think of how long ago, and with what tools, these amazing buildings where created. I mean, the York Minster was finished in 1472... it's just absolutely mind blowing. Thank you, Jamie, once again for taking us along on all your adventures.
Hi Jamie. So glad you’re doing such interesting things and sharing them with your on-line friends. Sherpa is walking with you in Spirit so you can visit some dog-free areas without his physical form. Please carry on sharing 💜🐾💜
❤❤❤❤ wow! That cathedral was impressive. Sherpa definitely would not have liked those stairs. I can just hear him talking in that cathedral and his voice echoing for all to hear 🤭🤭. Part two is going to be fun, especially if we see a ghostie ❤❤❤❤
THANK YOU Jamie for taking us all on your adventures. As an Aussie, I am in awe of your beautiful country. Absolutely steeped in history and beauty. Have to admit I'm a tad bit obsessed with Yorkshire and hope to visit the UK someday. York looks beautiful and the Minster, WOW. Thank you again.
Sherps loved York & it is a beautiful place. York Minster is georgous. Bet Sherps loved it now that he can go in with Dad. Hope you get some visitors tonight Jamie as it will make the whole road trip worth it. Speak to Sherps & ask if he can make arrangements for the ghosts to show up for you. Have a good evening. All my Love georgous handsome Jamie Annette❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾💋💋💋💋💋💋⚘️⚘️
Jamie, there are two places to check out in York. The Jorvick Viking Museum and the National Railway Museum. If you didn't get to them this time, make another visit.
Good morning what a beautiful cathedral. You are a great tour guide. The stain glass windows are beautiful. Sherpa was with you on this tour. And in our hearts. Yummy looks good. ❤❤❤
I was born in York. Went to commercial college there My gran worked at the Shambles cafe many , many years ago. Love my home town I'm so glad you visited
Loving York. Wish we had something like this in America. The Minstry was astoundingly beautiful & that pipe organ! The Roman ruins, very cool. So nice you could see the things you missed out on before & still have Sherpy along with you. Thanks for taking us along to see these places, love it!
Thank You Jamie for taking me on your adventure. This was wonderful. Such a beautiful place but so many stairs!! There were so many people there too. The cathedral was absolutely gorgeous and the stained glass was amazing! Hope you’re having a wonderful day. Hugs 🐕🦺💙
Hi Jamie Sherpa will be walking with you around the walls it a beautiful place to visit thanks for taking us all with you ❤ from Susan in Scotland 🏴
I looked in awe to the Cathedral. What a performance for the builders! It is beautiful, so much light. And all the antique bibles.....Thank you so much for sharing. Sherpy was with you inside the tower and the Cathedral now he is not hindered by his body anymore 😊❤
Wow! The York Minster is stunning. I live in the US and I would love to visit England, especially York for all of its history. It looks beautiful. I was surprised that there were so many people with something special going on or is it always just busy like that thank you so much for sharing these with us I enjoy it immensely thanks again and hope you have a great night and the hotel.
I just thought that I would let you know, Jamie, that order your books off of Amazon and I think that I will like them and treasure them always ❤❤❤ peace and love
Probably as well that Sherpa had to wait this long to visit the Minster with you. His least comment in those spaces might have brought the house down. Beautiful, fascinating wander. Thank you so much.
Hi Jamie, another beautiful wander today. I really enjoyed seeing York. I had a family member that did some research on our family tree and we are supposed to have family members from York way back when. It was one place I really wanted to visit when we went to England for a business trip back in the 90's. We stayed 2 weeks and had a wonderful time but, there were so many places on my list I didn't get to visit, so I appreciate your videos very much. The cathedral was amazing that ceiling and the stained glass were so beautiful. It is so hard to imagine how they had the skills to make such intricate things like that centuries ago, the dedication that went in to those projects is really astounding.
My Dad’s family emigrated to Canada from Leeds, which is very near York. I didn’t get to see much of Leeds on my visit to Britain, but I absolutely loved York!
Jamie thank you very much for taking us along with you on your wander of York,UK. It is such an incredibly beautiful place. I absolutely love the old Tudor style building's. I think England 🇬🇧 is one of the most beautiful places to see some great architecture. The whole country is spectacular. The cathedral was absolutely breathtaking. Take care. Much love. Safe travels. ❤❤🫂🫂😘😘🧔🐺😇
Love love this wander! The windows! The ceiling! Ooohh to hear an organ thru those pipes! Ppsshh who am I kidding. I’d have to be dragged kicking and screaming out of the street market shops! lolol
York Minster is stunning especially the stained glass windows, when the sun shines through the colured reflections are magical . I hope the Fawkes inn doesnt disappoint although i agree no children that would be too much for me as well looking forward to tomorrows video .💙👻🐺❤
Thats alot of baby dolls and stuff animals 😮that place was so massive but it was also very cool i hope you had a great time there Jamie ❤and Sherpa is always with you he was so precious ❤🤗🙏
Ooh, are you by any chance doing the 12 spookiest places in York?? The Black Swan is on there and so is The Minster. I love this, but again will watch after tea/dinner. I want to watch this when it's dark and when I can take all the time I need 😊❤ I am really loving this Jamie, I get to see places and things I would otherwise never see 🥰🥰🥰🥰🙋🏼♀️
The queues are usually for the Harry Potter shops always busy, a few good viking shops in shambles too. Love your on tour videos glad your getting out and about ☔
What a breathtakingly beautiful cathedral!! I just love going inside them, I get feeling of such inner peace. York is a fascinating, wonderful place. I loved everything about it. I’m sure Sherpa would have enjoyed talking to everyone ..I can still hear him and his howling. I miss him so much Jamie! Thank you for taking us along your adventures, places I will never see. ❤️💙 I’m still waiting for you and Sara to make a pasty (pastie?) for us! lol
Hiya Jamie how you doing Jeeeeze £30 parking Bloody hell Ouch Sherpa would have loved this The place looks absolutely incredible best wishes Vicki and Craig ❤
York is absolutely beautiful, and the Minster is awe-inspiring. Plenty of ghosts there, no doubt. - Sherpa wouldn't have enjoyed all the city wall steps. It's a good thing you carried him this time, in your ring!
When my niece moved to York to get her Masters and remained there, I visited her in the summer of 2023. As I had been there 30 years, I was amazed at the change; but I still revisited everything like the Minster, the Shambles, and the Jorvik Museum. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. If you like different cuisines, try the Blue Barbican or the Original Shawarma.
Oh, Jamie, you do realize Sherpa's already bounded up all of those stairways and is waiting for you now. Old York is such a beautiful city; thanks for taking us with you.
Parking is so expensive there. My goodness. The place is so crowded too. I would have stopped at all those stores to look around. What a beautiful building/church/cathedral. I love these adventures you take me to.
I've visited York and York Minster. It's a lovely city to walk around and you get a great view from the city walls. The autumn colours are beautiful. 🧡🧡
I knew I recognised the York Minster church as it was where the finale (last scene) of The Crown was filmed 😊 Glad to have seen more of it from your video. Thanks Jamie. Stay safe 💕
Hi amazing Jamie ❤❤❤! Loving your fantastic adventures. ❤❤! I can see previous Angle walking by your side and sleeping at the end of your bed! 💫! All I say is,WOW!
There's a village that never celebrate November 5th it's just outside the city and it's where all the family of Guido Fawkes live. I forgot it's name but we lived in Pocklington when the dog was in quarantine when we first emigrated.
Thanks for showing York and inside the beautiful Minster. The craftmanship that went into that was an art form. Thank goodness it's maintained so well. I visited York for a couple of days back in 2016 and loved it. It was a gorgeous city and friendly people, but blimmin expensive so goodness knows what it's like now! We went on a ghost walk and there was a sweet shop. The guide told us of 2 children who went missing, they had been seen playing outside then seem to vanish. They extracted a false confession out of a person we'd know now had learning difficulties. The poor children were found in a huge vat that the whole place used, things like breweries, back then, I think it was sugar, and the children had obviously fallen in trying to get some. They were only found when it ran out several months later. It was very upsetting and we cut short the walk after that. Looking foward to part 2 on Friday. You may consider blurring people's licence plates out in the vlog though.
Hello Jamie👋Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful trip in York. The Shambles are very lovely but overcrowded, unfortunately ! Sherpie🐕✨️ wishes you the best and a great day too❤See you. Take care.

No need to say poor Sherpie! Jamie, he was right there with you climbing those steps!!! He is there every step of the way!💖
Sherpa doesn't climb steps anymore, he just floats above them........
I'm so glad Sherpa can go anywhere with you now, without restrictions!!!🤗🥰💖💖💖💖💖
Beautiful buildings. Now Sherpa can be with dad wherever he goes and nobody can say he is not allowed.
