Hi folks, thanks for tuning in. Just a reminder that this video was filmed before I started my diabetes changes. The good news is things are progressing well. We have been eating healthy food, I am losing weight, our fitness has improved significantly and my blood glucose levels are well under control. Tonight is probably my last night wearing a CGM. I’ll be giving you an update on the diabetes in due course. We hope you enjoy the video.
Happiness is all about showing gratitude for the simple things in life, and you guys always seem to do this. Thanks for sharing. Love your home from home. 😊
Nothing wrong with a quick wash at all and I love to just see how you guys live in the van…. The food, going to bed, getting up and even a haircut makes for my ideal viewing. Keep it up 👍 ❤
Every time I watch a video of your van trips , I can truely say this would be myself and my hubby. At the moment we live cheaply , if we go out for a coffee , it’s a seven eleven job and home made healthy snack ( trying to keep weight and BP down as we move through our sixties ). With the world getting increasingly more violent and dangerous , we find ourselves stealing perfect little moments where life can be enjoyed and remembered.
Hi both, I saw you cutting Ken's hair inside snoopy and thought I'd suggest you do that outside like my partner does for me. It's far less messy and you could still hoover him down as he likes it so much. You'll need a cordless hair clippers but any 'mess' you leave outdoors is organic and will often find it's way into a nest lining (&looks)much like an owl's,foxes or other raptor's meal . (Feathers skin and rodent's fluff) Even more entertaining for passers bye too 😁 Keep on going. Regards, Stuart and Nick
I know you have changed your diet but thanks for your honesty in showing your previous self Ken. I am up there with you mate but not so honest. Keep us updated and good luck.

It looks like y’all are having some cloudy weather. Enjoy. We are headed back to Prosperity, SC in a few hours. I think a van like yours would be great fun traveling around.
I always so love watching your videos ❤️. This one was especially welcome, not only were you in SW Scotland (I’m from NE Scotland!) but this past week has been a nightmare (accident, shoulder x-ray and ecogram, hospital visit, start of series of visits to physio then we had a power cut which took the electrician 6 hours to find the fault and give us back power! Then up pops this video …. Perfect to soothe my exhausted soul 😂 thank you 💙🏴💙

At least you don't get asked where you're going for your holidays! We have some great chats when I'm being the barber (scissors and fingers rather than clippers - but I'm tempted to try some now). Hoovering the husband, now there's a thought! (He tidies up any stragglers round the back when I've cut mine but I wouldn't try that in a van.) Excellent water-saving routine re ablutions (or "looshuns" - one of those daft family words that has persisted). Laura

Just loved the joy on your face Ken with the hot flannel head wash. Although we don’t have a van at present as we are caring for my mum we still carry on living as we did in the van. We still use the Jackory power bank on a couple of solar panels to boil the kettle and toaster. As we are now on a water meter we only shower once a week and have a good old sink wash daily. Old habits die hard😉😂
Great habits for home as well. I bought an Ecoflow ages ago that is now in our home kitchen powering an air fryer and our kettle. We have excess solar from our roof solar. 👍
I love you van it has a place for everything and everything in its place. It looks so comfortable. When I went to a Brazil I found rolling up my clothes made everything fit so much better in my suitcase. It also helped with removing creases.
Even though our truma combi is diesel, we only ever keep the hot water on for showers. For a strip wash we boil the kettle and tip it in the washroom sink...add some cold...job done.

Love the level of service provided behind the scenes, in this spa, hotel, restaurant, studio, theatre and mobile workspace. Like many international flights and some restaurants, provided with a hot facecloth, to 'freshen up' and become ready for whatever the day brings. Wherever and whenever you are at any time or day globally, a hot facecloth is a brilliant reviver and pick-me-up (seen some spas do wet flannels in a microwave, cool before using)! Seeing that today people actually park in the passing bays, is dangerous and inconsiderate by any standards. Hope the 'staff' got plenty of 'tips' for providing such venerable and courteous support. Take care & stay safe. Kia Ora from New Zealand. 💜💜
