- We have spent the last year and a half working on restoring our 1977 38' sailboat. After learning the lifestyle and leaning into everything the cruising life had to offer, we decided to buy a new sailboat that we can grow into as we cruise over the next 7-10 years. We officially put an offer on a 1993 42' Catalina named "Post Time" located in San Franciso. (I don't mention it in the video, but the agreed upon offer was $104,500.) We take you along the first official sailboat tour of this stunning Catalina, as we envision if this sailboat will fit our future dreams and if we will move into the next phase of a survey and sea trial off the coast of sunny California.
