- "Alleluia, Sing to Jesus" was written by William Chatterton Dix in 1866.
The tune is 'Hyfrydol', composed by Rowland Hugh Prichard in 1830 when he was only nineteen.
It is performed by Saint Michael's Singers, Coventry Cathedral.

Although I'm a Baptist, I love that word in the last stanza, “...in the Eucharistic Feast.”
Our Communion in the Lord's Table is not just a mere remembrance of His death and resurrection, but also a feast of Thanksgiving (from the Greek εὐχαριστέω or eucharisteó). It is truly a blessing if you believe that this Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist (Lord's Supper) is a means of grace and nourishment to your spiritual health.

No. Luke was a busy doctor during a famine. Luke went into great detail...can pinpoint the exact.time, place.
