When I found you in my FFA match I clicked on your stream and do you have no idea how much joy I felt when you said I did something well we love you icy!
I played a Co-op mod of Elden Ring where I played with my buddy from start to finish. We had 2 different builds, and we couldn’t use the summoning bell. He already knew where some secrets were, the path to take, I just had to kill enemies, fight the bosses with him, explore, and try not to die. It took us maybe 2 months to beat? I could probably finish the game on my own, but I would get lost at times without guidance. Just gotta know when to dodge/jump or parry. That helps a bunch
I’m currently playing through Elden ring as my son challenged me to do it. Iv done a few bosses and the tree sentinel. It’s id say a 9 for being tough but obviously as you level up the game gets easier
It takes me a bit over 40-50 hours to 100% the game but that's only because I played all of the souls games and Elden Ring's main gimmick is just jump heavy attacks and full charge heavies to stun the bosses
As far as RPGs go, I've beaten Dark Souls 1/3, Elden Ring, Lies of P, and Persona 3 + 5R. They definitely are a time investment, and I can't tell you the average hours it would take to beat it since every playthrough for every player can be different but with a game like Elden ring you have to adapt and go with the flow if that makes sense. With Elden ring the first playthrough will always be the most frustrating but the more you play and learn you will look like a different person at the end of it gameplay wise, sounds corny but it's true.
I have beat dark souls 1-3, I'll give Elden Ring an 8/10 difficulty there is a bunch of Bosses you don't even have to fight, or you could go back to later when you're stronger. Also, for the release of another gears sounds amazing and I'm all for it but I would love it more if the game gets released Optimized not broken as f.
Yo Icy! I watch all your vids, in one of your recent ones you said that Gears 5 is poorly optomized for PC which I was surprised by, I don't know the general consensus but I have always thought it was optomized extremely well. I have a 3080 and I play on ultra settings at 144 fps with no stutters. The reason I'm telling you this is is just to let you know that its maybe something on your end that's making it run poorly, I'm no expert and I'm sure you have friends that can help you work it out, just saying that you CAN get it to run great especially with your specs! Big love champ x
The thing with the souls like games that people don't understand Is your gonna die more times than you can count you'll die for your mistakes or plain old dumb stuff My first dark souls was dark souls 3 I was stuck on that game for weeks (some bosses for days) but when I played Elden ring I beat it in like 3 days Elden ring is the easiest imo out of the souls like anyone can beat it You just gotta be prepared to die more times than you'd like to Also id cry if they released GOW 2 with ultimate edition graphics
I played and got 100% achievement on dark souls 1-3+ elden ring (elden ring being my first souls game i played) will say elden ring has the hardest bosses out of the games I played scale 9/10 (most fun bosses are in dark souls 3 imo)
Almost forgot took me around 200 hours to beat and plat the game the first time; The 2nd time only took me 10-12 hours from a fresh game of course I took my time to enjoy the game
Elden ring is kind of a hard game, hut when you have some meta knowledge about enemy weaknesses and shit like that, the game could be one of the easiest. So it depends on how well you know what you're doing imo. Took me like 22 hours to beat the game tho.
I personally have not beaten elden yet pretty sure im at lurnia of the lakes which is early game and is quite challenging but more forgiving rhan other souls titles I'm taking it really slow so i don't flip out but yea i enjoy single player very much
Elden ring is only hard if you haven't played any of the Souls' before, once you've beaten one you've basically beaten all of them. The formula never changes. You're going to get your ass stretched because you don't get it at first. It will click. In terms of how much technical skill it requires? Like a 3/10? Everything boils down to pattern recognition and memorisation. There's games out there that make Souls look like baby's first game. Games that require constant insane reaction times, mental multi-tasking, extreme precision, etc. Souls is the poor man's hard, it's what normal people think is like the APEX of difficulty. You DEFINITELY have the ability to beat it. My grandmother could. If you want a good idea on how trivial and formulaic the games can be just look at speed runs of Souls.

If you thinking of dabbling in RPGs , you gotta try a horror game bro. You’re personality with a face cam would be gold 😂

I haven't played elden ring, but I like all kinds of single player games. Upload those streams, it only makes sense.
Do you play horror games? Dead Space Remake and RE4 Remake would be entertaining to watch!
I second that lol
Darks Souls 2 is still my favorite.. Maybe it's just me but i got burnt out on DS3 and Elden Ring and never finished

I love elden ring immensely. Just hit level 650, i'm mainly a spell caster faith. Take some time to learn move sets and be patient with bosses
Lmao bro Elden ring difficulty is 10/10 😅
An elden ring icy playthrough sounds good 😂
I think if u cap the frames at 144 u probably would get less stutters.

Bro, let's play some Tekken 8 👌👌
