funny thing is, this is almost tame compared to what he does when he's younger lol. Now you understand why he's called Mr. Pure Energy
That is because after his heart surgery, his doctor advised him not to dance like when he was younger because it is not safe for his health. He is not allowed to dance to the point that he will be too tired or else. He can still dance but not as energetic as before, he is almost 56 y.o.

Gary is a blessed man. He is a diabetic person since 9 years old i think and he collapsed several times and months ago after his performance in ASAP and the latest he had a heart operation and kidney problem but he had rested and he is back to his old form, Mr. Pure Energy. He is half Filipino and half Puerto Rican.
If youre planning to go to the philippines it must be for a gary v concert you havent seen yet why he is called mr. pure energy.. Concerts like lea salonga and gary v is a must watch before they decide to retire..

You're both correct about getting the 90's vibe because this song was released in his album Hataw Na back in the early 90's. And yes, the original back up vocals were by Regine herself (incidentally, they both featured each other in their respective albums released around that time, probably because they were in the same record label then, and recorded/released duets). Sa Yahweh is a Christian song about praising God with music and dance and just having a positive attitude towards life in general. The other people in the video were his wife, Angeli (appearing while they were washing hands), and most likely their house staff. You would get a kick out of this- a performance by Gary V and the late rapper Francis M in 1990. They performed "Get Up" and "Pump Up the Jam" by Techtronic. This was during Gary's peak, and he was introducing a neophyte Francis at that time. Filipino audiences, especially then, are very hard to please. And the two of them were some of the few who can get the audiences to get up on their feet and dance. They're pretty well loved. Francis released his first album around this time and it was a major hit. So when he was Gary's special guest, the crowd went wild. Pretty good quality for an old video. And I don't think the millenials have seen this yet. Hehe. Also, you'll see Gary's shoulder pads and both wearing MC Hammer pants lol. This clip, if you watch it, this was a tribute to Francis when he passed away. You'll see the people looking at the video with a soln smile. This is a Christian dance music he composed in the early 1990s. And yes, that’s Regine. She was really part of the original song.
You will see his wife as well (kitchen sink washing hands with him @ 4:05 ). I guess the rest are part of his household (probably helper, driver, etc.)
This is also most likely shot in his home because Manila is on lockdown. I bet Gary also cannot leave his home because he is considered a high risk - being diabetic and a cancer survivor.
