Very nice playing! Lovely style, where are you based. I'm in London area if you fancy some tunes at any point. I think we played briefly at Sheffield Sessions fest this year
William Allen Thanks very much. I like your videos too. I live in York, but if we ever happen to be in the same place for a bit then tunes would certainly be good.
First of all, The Sami people are semi-nomadic so they, by definition, can not be considered Indigenous to anywhere... as for to be Indigenous, one needs to have a fixed habitation, and by definition, semi-nomadic(let alone fully nomadic)peoples are without fixed habitation. Last of all, what has this got to do with an English folk/morris tune?... like, what on god's green earth have Sami people got to do with my people, the English, you know, the Indigenous people of England?
Gorgeous playing (as usual) & with some really tasty nuanced chording!
Lovely!!!!!!! So sweet!!!
A Morris dancing tune?

The Sami People are the Indigenous people of the Northern parts of Norway, Sweden, Finland and The Kola

Lovely subtle playing! What kind of a box is that?
Thanks very much. :)
