Wonderful! Played along on my octave mandolin, capo on second fret. A most enjoyable 3 minutes, thank you.

Haven't heard this in 30 years ,thanks for the reminder - Sallyport Swords had Blowzabella up to Newcastle for a weekend back in the 80's - very formative for me

Totally convincing and solid with a medieval feel to those harmonies. I've always found this such a tricky tune to play but your account will send me back to try again. Gratitude again.

Thank you, Jack. I spent a lot of time struggling with this, left it for a few days, and when I came back to it, it was far from perfect but I at least had some idea of how I wanted to play it and further practice was able to be more focused.
What you call a mediaeval feel to the harmonies, I think of as imitating the drones of a hurdy gurdy, the composer's instrument as I'm sure you're aware.
Anyway, glad to have given you some sort of inspiration to try again.
If I was going to do it again I'd try to go slower. It's a tune that seems to run away with itself.
